First Crypto ETFs Coming to Singapore via Harvest Global And MetaComp Alliance

Harvest became the first Crypto ETF in HK at the end of April and this partnership with MetaComp will now open this ETF up to Singaporeans.

To make its new cryptocurrency spot Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) available to investors in Singapore, Hong Kong -based Harvest Global Investments, and MetaComp – a financial technology business specialising in digital assets with its headquarters in Singapore – have agreed to a brand-new strategic alliance. MetaComp specialise in digital assets and blockchain technology and is regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).

Groundbreaking Partnership For The Far East

The two companies have inked a memorandum of understanding whereby MetaComp and its affiliates would use its proprietary client assets management platform – Camp by MetaComp –  to give investors access to Harvest’s cryptocurrency spot ETFs.

The Harvest and MetaComp alliance will also seek to include Harvest’s range of asset management products into MetaComp’s service offerings in addition to distributing cryptocurrency ETFs. The fintech company announced that it would grant Harvest access to its range of digital payment token services.

According to the Singaporean fintech, the project aims to increase Harvest ETFs’ worldwide reach, while allowing MetaComp  to “enrich its wealth solution portfolio with highly sought-after financial products.”

Three mainland Chinese asset managers including Bosera Asset Management, China Asset Management, and Harvest Global Investments have recently received initial approval to offer BTC and ETH backed ETFs.

In addition to serving the current clientele of both businesses, the partners said that the cooperation “is designed to capture new segments eager for advanced financial solutions across traditional finance and crypto finance.”

The transaction, according to MetaComp’s chair and co-founder Dr Bai Bo, “reaffirms our commitment to being the bridge that links traditional finance with crypto finance.”

“We are positioned to deliver unmatched value to our clients and the market with Harvest’s asset management expertise and MetaComp’s robust capabilities in offering a comprehensive suite of digital payment solutions,” he added.
