Since launching in March 2024, BlackRock’s BUIDL fund has doled out $7 million in dividends. Securitize says the monthly returns are climbing steadily, signaling a new era of digital liquidity.

“The success of BUIDL’s dividend payments underscores the potential of tokenized asset investments in delivering robust returns to investors,” reported Securitize.

Today, we wanted to discuss BlackRock’s involvement in crypto and the top three cryptocurrencies in the RWA sector, its most anticipated niche.

BlackRock and Goldman Sachs Leading the Way on Tokenization

The tokenization trend is catching fire, with giants like BlackRock and Goldman Sachs offering fresh products aimed at US and European debt markets.

“The surge in real-world asset tokenization signals a transformative phase in the crypto industry, with traditional institutions embracing digital assets and exploring new avenues for investment,” highlighted Goldman Sachs’ global head of digital assets Mathew McDermott.

July saw the US national debt break the $35 trillion mark, sparking fears of currency devaluation and reigniting debates on sound monetary standards.

Besides investing in asset tokenization, analysts and asset managers like BlackRock are eyeing Bitcoin, a neutral, supply-capped asset, as a potential hedge against inflation—a lifeboat against currency debasement.

Best RWA Crypto Projects to Check Out

Here are three RWA cryptos in invest in that BlackRock themselves are rumored to be interested in.

The first is Landshare (LAND), a trailblazer in tokenized real estate. It has jumped into the multi-chain game by integrating with Polygon and Arbitrum. Landshare is not stopping there—more platforms are slated to join by year’s end, and it aims to be the number one platform tokenizing real-world assets.

(LAND)

Next up is Ondo Finance, now intertwined with BlackRock’s BUIDL tokenization fund on Ethereum. ONDO has latched onto the crypto giant’s ecosystem, making waves as it leads the RWA narrative.

(ONDOUSDT)

Finally, there’s Realio (RIO), the RWA sensation setting the market on fire. Investors are buzzing as RIO readies to launch holder bonds, a groundbreaking move in its real estate saga.

(RIOUSDT)

Realio Network transforms real estate investing by tokenizing and selling fractional shares. They want to make it easier for middle and lower-class investors to get into real estate through decentralized finance.

Fund tokenization shows potential but faces challenges like regulatory compliance, security risks, and blockchain interoperability.

Despite this, it’s today’s hot ticket with plenty of long-term value, and that’s why BlackRock is betting the farm on it.
