Live streaming meme coins on Solana reach new level of degen after firework stunt ends with dev treated in hospital for third degree burns.

Meme coins within the live-streaming meta are getting more and more insane. A few weeks ago, the LiveMom meme coin saw a supposed mother and son live streaming together. The mother wore skimpy clothes and was seen shaking her breasts at the audience while promising more if their degen token pumped. We’ve now moved from that to TruthOrDare ($DARE), a live-streaming Solana meme coin that has seen a dev set himself on fire.

Live Streaming Meta Gone Too Far?

The TruthOrDare token (DARE) was created around a week ago, and in that time, the Solana dev has doused himself in isopropyl alcohol and had fireworks shot at him. He is currently being treated in a Miami hospital for third-degree burns.

Livestreaming for clout is a new and worrying trend. So far, we have seen a mom shake her breasts on camera to pump her son’s token and a dev boxing and losing a tooth in the process, to name a few of the weirder situations. The dev for TruthOrDare has taken it to a new level, leaving us to wonder how far these devs will go to pump their degen meme coins.

In the live stream on X, Mikol, the dev, quickly went up in flames after being hit by a few fireworks. The stream shows his friends quickly running to him, trying to extinguish the flames. They only had water to hand, which wasn’t enough to stop the flames. One of Mikol’s friends could be heard saying, “He’s all burned up, bruh,” while the dev was writhing on the floor in pain.

“Stop recording and start helping,” another friend said to the person filming. This portion of the live stream is a tough watch. Mikol is seen screaming in pain whilst claiming he can’t feel his hands. He promptly asks to be taken to the hospital. “It burns, bro, my body burns,” the dev screamed out.

His friends shouted at the one driving to take them to the hospital. Mikol continues to yell out in pain. Mikol can be seen trying to keep his skin from touching any of the surfaces of the car. The Telegram group for TruthOrDare has stated that, as of today, Mikol is stable and recovering in hospital from his burns.

The TruthOrDare dev has built a passionate community of investors in a short space of time. Before the burning incident, Mikol completed a number of dares, ranging from drinking bong water to setting his pants on fire. Right now, the Telegram chat is split between well-wishers for Mikol and degen investors complaining about the DARE chart.

The price of DARE is currently ranging between $0.0007 – $0.0011 with a market cap of $800,000 – $1 million. At its peak, DARE hit $0.002 with a market cap of around $2 million. There are currently 996 holders, and the token has processed $3.3 million in volume over the past 24 hours. If Mikol makes a return to the Telegram and maybe even live streaming, expect the Solana-based DARE to go on another run.
