Ferrari announced that it will now accept Bitcoin payments for its luxury cars in Europe, starting July 2024.

A Bold Move For Ferrari
Ferrari, the iconic Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, has made a bold move by adopting Bitcoin as a payment method.
The company started accepting Bitcoin as a payment method in the US first. “The entry into the European market follows the successful launch of this alternative payment system in the US less than a year ago, to support dealers in better addressing the evolving needs of its clients,” Ferrari said.
The decision to accept Bitcoin payments aligns with Ferrari’s broader strategy to embrace cutting-edge technologies.
The company is not only catering to a new demographic of tech-savvy customers but also positioning itself at the forefront of technological advancement in the automotive sector.

Growing Trend Of Crypto Adoption In The Automotive Industry
Ferrari’s decision to accept Bitcoin is part of a larger trend of cryptocurrency adoption within the automotive industry.
Tesla, another major player in the automotive industry, made headlines in 2021 when it announced that it would accept Bitcoin payments for its electric vehicles.
Although the company later suspended this option due to environmental concerns associated with Bitcoin mining, the initial move set a precedent for other automakers to explore cryptocurrency payments.
