Any Ethereum price analysis this week has to begin with one question: is the bounce real? ETH trades at $2,450 after a sell-off that took it to about $2,320, and a 3.47% gain over 24 hours. That recovers only a small part of the drop from the $2,700 area, and volume fell 29.68% to $13.54B, so the rebound is running on thin participation.
The trigger was hotter-than-expected U.S. inflation data, which lifted Treasury yields, pressured risk assets and liquidated roughly $106 million in Binance ETH longs.
Spot Ether ETFs added to the pressure with net outflows of 24,910 ETH on October 15, after 51,860 ETH the day before. Still, on-chain trackers report that wallets rotating out of Bitcoin bought 9,820 ETH in one day and 53,095 ETH over five days, so the picture is mixed.
Here’s what the levels suggest and why the rebound still needs confirmation.

What Does Ethereum Price Analysis Say About $2,600?

ETH traded between about $2,600 and $2,740 from late September into early October before breaking lower, which makes $2,600 the level that matters most. The $2,500 area is the first hurdle, since ETH failed to hold it on the way down. Support sits at $2,400, then the recent low near $2,320.
ETH also trades below the shorter moving average near $2,494 and above the longer one near $2,311, so the short-term trend has not turned decisively higher. A sustained move through $2,600 could open $2,700 and the late September high near $2,800.
What do the ETH ETF figures indicate? Across the ten sessions in the recent data, only 13 October recorded a net inflow, amounting to 10,140 ETH. Since October 6 the funds have shed about 285,000 ETH, roughly $700 million, led by BlackRock’s ETHA with 18,340 ETH on October 15. Cumulative inflows since launch still stand at 3.57M ETH, about 8% below the 3.88M ETH reached on October 1, so the selling is meaningful but not a wholesale exit.
This Ethereum price analysis comes down to levels rather than the bounce: ETH needs a close above $2,600 for the rebound to count as a reversal.
For additional context, this Ethereum support-and-resistance analysis tracks the same pressure points. Watch the levels, not just the bounce.

Is Bitcoin’s Capital, Ethereum’s Depth and Solana’s Speed in One Place Possible?
Whichever way ETH moves next, capital will keep flowing between Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana, and moving it across those networks is still harder than it should be. LiquidChain is one project aiming to change that.
LiquidChain is building a Layer 3 blockchain that links Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana in a single execution layer. Today, moving value between these networks means bridges, wrapped assets and several wallets. LiquidChain describes its aim as deeper liquidity, faster trading and a safer flow of funds between the three. The project says its code has been audited by SpyWolf and CertiK.
The $LIQUID presale is now close to its next price step. According to the presale page, about $984,658 of $1,095,032 has been raised (roughly 90%), with $LIQUID priced at $0.014966 until the price rises. The page lists staking rewards of 1167% and a countdown of 2 days and 7 hours.
Buyers connect a wallet, or pay through Web3Payments if they do not have one yet.
Join the $LIQUID presale on the official LiquidChain website before the next price rise.
