This XRP price analysis begins with XRP at $1.31, down 4.52% over 24 hours and trading just above the $1.2659 support level. The token ranks fifth by market cap at $82.73 billion. The daily chart shows it drifting lower after a rejection near $1.6238 in late September, with $1.4711 as the first resistance on the way back up.
Seasonality adds to the caution, since XRP is down 12.22% so far in October and 29.01% for the year.
Institutional news offers a counterweight, as Evernorth has started deploying its XRP treasury and spot ETFs still show small inflows. The key question is whether support holds long enough for those factors to matter.

October has never really been “Uptober” for XRP.
But this is exactly why I’m watching it differently this year.

What Does the XRP Price Analysis Say About $1.2659 Support?

The $1.2659 level is the line to watch. XRP tested it in September, and the current candle is pressing on it again, so a daily close below would be the clearest warning on the chart. That would open the way toward the $1.00 to $1.10 area that held the price through the summer. The latest drop has come with rising activity: 24-hour volume increased 58.82% to $3.09 billion. On the upside, buyers need to reclaim $1.4711 first, then $1.6238.
October’s record is mixed but leans negative. The month brought gains of 14.78% in 2019, 16.73% in 2021 and 16.45% in 2023, but losses of 16.67% in 2024 and 11.84% in 2025. Six of the nine Octobers in the seasonal table have been negative, including this one so far.
Evernorth is deploying its $648 million treasury of 473 million XRP from the fourth quarter, working with Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo. How the deployment will affect spot trading is not yet clear, so it works as a supportive backdrop rather than a direct catalyst.
On October 14, spot XRP ETFs recorded net inflows of $740.41K, while Bitcoin ETFs lost $261.46M, Ethereum ETFs $129.51M and Solana ETFs $1.29M. Only XRP and ZEC, with $3.68M, posted inflows.
In this XRP price analysis, that data supports a hold at $1.2659, but only a move back above $1.4711 would change the trend.
Bitcoin Hyper Targets Early Movers as XRP Tests Key Levels
For XRP holders, a test of support is uncomfortable: and a clean break would make the picture worse. Yet a bounce is not guaranteed, either. When major tokens sell off together, some traders look beyond short-term chart recovery toward projects selling infrastructure rather than established-coin momentum.
While XRP consolidates, some investors are looking at earlier-stage projects, and Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) is one of them. It is a Layer 2 network built to bring faster, cheaper transactions to Bitcoin, using the Solana Virtual Machine for execution and a canonical bridge to move BTC onto the chain.
The project reports a presale price of $0.0136875 per token, more than $33.1 million raised, 35% staking APY and 42 days left.
