Toobit has launched a peer-to-peer (P2P) marketplace with zero trading fees, opening a direct route between local fiat systems and its crypto exchange.
The platform says the new P2P service allows users to buy and sell USDT directly with each other using local currencies and payment methods they already use day to day, and will help users quickly move in and out of crypto markets.
Toobit’s P2P marketplace supports more than 30 fiat currencies, including the U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, Malaysian ringgit, and Australian dollar.
It includes more than 100 payment methods, which span from bank transfers to regional e-wallets, and focuses on reducing the middlemen between a trader’s bank account and their exchange balance.

P2P pricing is set by users, meaning buyers and sellers post offers, filter for preferred rates and payment channels, and settle trades directly with each other. Toobit describes the model as a way to expose real market pricing rather than fixed spreads set by a centralized desk.
The exchange has removed platform fees from these transactions entirely, so traders can post or take offers without paying an additional service charge – a move that will place pressure on competitors still monetizing fiat access through spreads or commissions.
Despite bringing the flexibility of P2P into the ecosystem, security remains tightly controlled, with the seller’s USDT locked in Toobit’s escrow system and released only after the buyer’s payment is confirmed – reducing counterparty risk while still being a direct transaction between two users.
The company has also introduced a “T+1” withdrawal restriction for assets purchased through P2P, which means users must wait 24 hours before moving those funds off-platform, again limiting the window for fraud and preventing rapid cycling of compromised funds.
Users need to complete advanced KYC verification before accessing the marketplace, bringing Toobit closer to the compliance standards of centralized exchanges rather than the informal P2P desks, which often conduct minimal identity checks.

P2P systems have gained speed in the last few years as users look for faster settlement and more flexible payment options, especially in regions where traditional banking rails remain slow or restrictive.
Stablecoins have massively accelerated that trend and now handle tens of trillions of dollars in annual transaction volume, often tied to on-ramping and cross-border settlement.
By using USDT, Toobit uses the largest, most liquid stablecoin pair used for fiat conversion globally, cutting out intermediaries and letting users negotiate directly in a shared currency.
Toobit also offers API connectivity through platforms such as CCXT, Altrady, and CryptoCopy, and has built out a broker program aimed at professional traders and partners integrating external tools.
The addition of P2P extends that offering beyond derivatives, allowing traders to convert local currency to USDT on the platform and then deploy that capital into spot or derivatives markets within the same ecosystem.
Access to the marketplace is available across both web and mobile interfaces. Toobit says the goal is to allow users to manage trades from any device without introducing extra steps between payment and execution.
Toobit’s zero-fee P2P is a welcome move in the market towards user-driven pricing, localized payment rails, and tighter integration between traditional finance and crypto markets.
