Bitcoin (BTC) is still the market’s main talking point after briefly breaking above $80,000 on Tuesday. Since then, BTC has pulled back and settled into a consolidation range, trading around $79,000 but still sitting at its highest level since mid-May. US spot Bitcoin ETFs are also reinforcing the move, with inflows topping $884 million so far this week. The big question now is whether that momentum can carry Bitcoin toward, or even beyond, $83,000 by the end of September.

That backdrop is also drawing attention to projects aimed at making Bitcoin more practical to use. One of them is Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER), a Layer 2 network designed to settle on Bitcoin while handling transactions on a faster execution layer. In simple terms, its pitch is to help people do more with BTC without the usual wait times and base-chain fees. The project has now raised more than $33 million in its public presale and is edging closer to the $35 million mark.

Bitcoin did not keep $80,000 as support earlier this week, but the move still marked its highest price zone in around 100 days. Right now, BTC is trading in a relatively narrow band between $77,600 and $79,800. That matters because when prices stay compressed like this, the next decisive move often sets the tone for the next trend.

On a wider view, Bitcoin remains up more than 13% on the week, while BTC spot ETFs have pulled in $3.27 billion this month. That is their strongest monthly performance since October 2025, showing that institutional demand has stayed firm even after this week’s pullback.

Last week’s rally was tied to the US Treasury’s plan to expand buybacks of long-dated government bonds, a development that revived demand for scarce assets as a hedge against a weaker dollar. That catalyst now appears largely priced in, and traders have shifted their focus to the Fed’s Jackson Hole symposium, where Fed Chair Kevin Warsh is scheduled to speak on Friday. Fed events often trigger larger-than-normal swings in crypto, so the next leg for BTC could be shaped by how markets react there.

Analyst Daan Crypto has highlighted Bitcoin’s weekly chart, pointing to $60,000 as the level where upside momentum took control and calling $83,000 the key near-term target.

Why Bitcoin Hyper Is Getting Attention as BTC Traders Look Beyond Price Alone

Even while traders debate whether Bitcoin’s rebound is the start of a bigger trend change, another question is becoming more important: if Bitcoin is attracting fresh capital again, how can it be used more easily? For many users, the issue is straightforward. The base Bitcoin network can be slower and more expensive than people want for everyday activity. That creates room for infrastructure built to make BTC more flexible.

That is the case Bitcoin Hyper is making. Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) is building a new Layer 2 that settles back to Bitcoin while using the Solana Virtual Machine for execution. The idea is that users send BTC to a canonical bridge address, then a relay program verifies Bitcoin block headers and transaction proofs before minting an equivalent balance on the Layer 2. Once there, transfers are designed to finalize quickly, with batches later compressed and committed back to Bitcoin through zero-knowledge proofs. Withdrawals follow the same route in reverse after the Layer 2 state is proven.

For newer market participants, the appeal is simple: it lets people use Bitcoin in a way that feels less like waiting for a bank transfer and more like using a faster app, while still anchoring to Bitcoin itself.

Presale Passes $33 Million Ahead of Planned Mainnet Launch This Quarter

Bitcoin Hyper’s presale has now raised more than $33 million, putting the project within reach of the $35 million milestone. The current presale price for HYPER is $0.0136853.

HYPER serves as the network’s native token for gas, staking, and governance. Total supply is capped at 21 billion, a nod to Bitcoin’s own hard cap. The allocation is split as 30% for development, 25% for treasury, 20% for marketing, 15% for rewards, and 10% for listings.

The project says its Layer 2 mainnet is still scheduled to launch this quarter. HYPER staking is already live, with a dynamic APY of up to 35%.

With Bitcoin itself trying to reclaim $80,000, the timing has helped Bitcoin Hyper stand out among traders and infrastructure-focused buyers seeking ways to put BTC to work rather than leave it idle on the base chain.

Bitcoin Hyper Presale: What Buyers Need to Know

Those who want to join the sale can go to the official Bitcoin Hyper website, connect a supported crypto wallet, choose the amount of HYPER they want at the current presale price of $0.0136853, and confirm the transaction. Purchases are available using ETH, BNB, SOL, USDT, and USDC, and the presale also accepts traditional bank cards.

Users can also buy and stake in the same flow to access the advertised 35% APY immediately.

Mobile users can access the sale through the Best Wallet app, where HYPER appears in the “Upcoming Tokens” section. Best Wallet is available via the Apple App Store and Google Play.

For updates, users can follow Bitcoin Hyper on X and join its official Telegram channel.
