Trying to achieve the goal of making online purchases easier for clients, Millenius claims they are “the first major Australian online retailer” to accept Bitcoin and Litecoin payments.

According to Pierre Boutros, founder of Millennius, “Bitcoin is becoming a far more common payment mechanism for online transactions, with many global online businesses adding the functionality“. So, nothing more natural than to subscribe this crypto-wave.

The possibility of “making our products more accessible to our customers” was a main factor that helped Pierre Boutros decide in favour of digital coin. “After monitoring trends, we have selected the right time to accept Bitcoins and Litecoins“, he says, explaining that Millennius needs to make the most of their “agility to become an early adopter for new technology”.

“Being agile, after all, is often the only effective tool when competing against the larger players in the market”, the founder of the Australian online retailer adds.

Besides, Bitcoin and Litecoin, Millennius will still be accepting credit card and bank transfer payments like before. However, the information about Bitcoin payments will be popping up, making customers aware that they can pay with cryptocurrency if they want.

Customers who use Litecoin and want to use it to purchase an item will be required to email the company for a quote, which will be valid for 24 hours.
