Brilliant Crypto raised $212 million in Japan CEX IEO record before listing on Coincheck. Now, they plan to expand to Europe and the Americas.
Gaming is global, a portal where people get to have fun.
Sometimes, you can profit from gaming, which is precisely what blockchain gaming means.
In other cases, players want to connect and have fun with others while collecting coveted items in better, responsive interfaces offered by centralized gaming platforms. Think of Roblox and PlayStation and the rest.
Blockchain gaming is evolving; sooner or later, games like Axie Infinity and other interactive versions will be at the same level or better than centralized versions. Analysts project the blockchain gaming industry to command a market cap exceeding $614 billion by 2030.
Axie Infinity, Decentraland, and SandBox are some of the top blockchain games by market cap, but more games are launching.
What is Brilliant Crypto? The Rise and Rise Of BRIL
Brilliant Crypto is quickly making a name for itself in Japan and the better part of Southeast Asia.
For what BRIL brings to the table, not only has it been listed on Coincheck, one of the largest crypto exchanges in Japan, but its crowdfunding via an initial exchange offering (IEO) broke records.
The over 79,000 investors helped Brilliant Crypto raise $212 million.
As a blockchain play-to-earn (P2E) game rewarding gamers with their BRIL native token on Polygon whenever they engage, Brilliant Crypto plans to change the landscape.
BRIL is a utility used for in-game activities like buying and upgrading pickaxes for players to mine.
Through a proof-of-gaming model, players are rewarded when they mine gemstones. The more players mine, the more value they generate to the ecosystem.
Besides the rapid expansion since launching in mid-June, Brilliant Crypto allows players to mine digital gemstones that offer real-world value.
So far, over 3,000 digital gemstone deals were completed within a week of launch, and 10,000 precious stones were traded in less than four weeks. On average, the game attracts roughly 4,000 players every day.
The game went viral so much that one digital gemstone, a 2.31-carat diamond, sold for $3,480.
Partnerships And Plans For Americas and Europe
Brilliant Crypto is also expanding in its market ambitions. Recently, it partnered with Bit2Me in Brazil.
At the same time, they joined forces with Crypto Blockchain Industries (CBI) to launch operations in Europe and South America, introducing the game to new markets.
Today, on August 7, Brilliant Crypto launched the Android version of their game, complementing the existing iOS scholar-only app. Android mobile owners can now download the game and mine, further creating value in the ecosystem.
