Solaverse (SOLA) is a new presale project that will launch as one of the first metaverse ecosystems on Solana. Currently in development, its metaverse will offer AI experiences, virtual land, and gamification elements.
But is Solaverse a legit project with realistic development goals? Read on to find out. I also explain how to buy Solaverse at presale rates and explore the price forecast for the SOLA project in the coming years.
Key Takeaways
- While the Solana blockchain is best known for its speculative meme coin trading, Solaverse wants to change that story with a metaverse ecosystem filled with AI features.
- This will include gamification and earning elements, along with land ownership via NFTs.
- The total SOLA supply is 2.9 billion tokens. 15%, or about 435 million SOLA, has been allocated for the ongoing presale. This means the team will control a significant percentage of the supply. No vesting schedules have been published.
- Why we don’t recommend this project: Red flags were plentiful when reviewing the Solaverse whitepaper, website, and tokenomics. For a start, Solaverse uses terms like “guaranteed exchange listings,” which is not something they control.
What Is Solaverse (SOLA)?
In a nutshell, Solaverse is building a new metaverse on the Solana blockchain, ensuring fast and low-cost transactions. Similar to existing metaverses like Decentraland and the Sandbox, Solaverse will offer virtual experiences. This could include socialization, where virtual avatars can communicate with like-minded players.
Like most metaverse projects, avatars are fully customizable. Solaverse, however, claims that avatars will be backed by AI tools, ensuring unique characteristics and features. In addition, Solaverse will support virtual land ownership. Users will be able to buy land plots with the ecosystem token SOLA.
Gamification is another angle being deployed by the Solaverse team. Web 3.0 builders can launch games with tokenization models, rewards, and loot boxes. According to the Solaverse roadmap, its metaverse will be launched in Q4 2025. This will include a fully-fledged mobile app for mobile experiences.
However, it’s concerning that little evidence of its metaverse has been released, considering the launch time frame is just months away. In the meantime, Solaverse is running a presale event. It’s selling 15% of the SOLA supply to fund development targets and other operating expenses. Just over $17,000 has been raised so far, illustrating the presale is struggling to take off.
Why We Don’t Recommend Solaverse
So that begs the question—should you buy Solaverse tokens, or is the project a scam? According to my research and analysis, the latter could be the case.
Here’s why:
- The biggest red flag is a lack of development evidence. Consider that The Sandbox, founded in 2011, is still being developed despite being one of the leading metaverse ecosystems. Conversely, Solaverse claims its metaverse will launch in the final quarter of 2025. This seems unrealistic.
- I also found that misleading language is consistently used on the Solaverse website. Having “guaranteed” exchange listings is simply not possible. It also claims that at least $1 million worth of liquidity will be locked. With just $17,000 in presale funds raised, I found no evidence that it has the required funds.
- The tokenomics, which detail how the SOLA supply will be allocated, are also a cause for concern. Just 15% will be sold to investors who join the presale and will thus be in the public domain. The anonymous development team will control the vast majority of the supply, meaning no accountability if those tokens are dumped.
- I also have issues with the presale pricing structure – clearly a tactic to entice investors to part with their money. The current presale rate, when compared to the exchange price, offers a massive upside of 300%. Real buyers and bots alike will likely cash out immediately, meaning the token generation event (TGE) could be a flop.
As per the red flags discussed above, Solaverse isn’t one of the top new cryptocurrencies to buy. On the contrary, seeing how SOLA tokens will provide long-term returns is difficult.
How to Buy Solaverse
Learn how to invest in Solaverse during the presale event. Read on to buy SOLA tokens in under five minutes.
Step 1: Download a Crypto Wallet
Like most presale events, Solaverse accepts crypto wallet payments. You’ll need a non-custodial wallet that supports one of the supported networks – Ethereum, Base, or Arbitrum.
All three of these networks are available on Best Wallet, a free user-friendly app on Google Play and the App Store. Best Wallet’s security measures include encrypted private keys and biometrics, ensuring an anonymous and non-custodial experience.
Step 2: Buy Some Crypto Wallet
Now, you need to add some cryptocurrencies to the installed wallet. Solaverse accepts some of the best cryptocurrencies to buy, including ETH, BNB, POL, USDT, and USDC.
Transfer one of these cryptocurrencies to your wallet address. You can also purchase cryptocurrencies instantly and without KYC on Best Wallet, with payment types including PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, and local bank transfers.
Step 3: Connect the Wallet to the Solaverse Website
If your wallet is funded with an accepted crypto, the next step is to visit the Solaverse website. The presale dashboard is located at the top of the page. Click the “Connect Wallet” and select your wallet provider.
Click “All Wallets” if you can’t initially see the provider. Then search for the wallet manually. Next, open the crypto wallet and confirm the connection request. This provides authorization to engage with the Solaverse presale.
Step 4: Buy SOLA Tokens
The presale investment form must now be completed. Select the payment coin alongside the respective network. Then type in the amount to invest.
You can then view how many SOLA tokens this equates to. For example, entering 0.7 ETH converts to 106,374 SOLA at the time of writing. After confirming the investment, authorization must be provided via the connected wallet.
The coins will then be transferred to Solaverse. Go back to the Solaverse after the presale ends to claim the purchased SOLA tokens. They’ll then be transferred to the same wallet used when investing.
Is Solaverse a Good Investment?
I’ve explained buying Solaverse tokens via the presale. In this section, I discuss whether or not SOLA is a worthy investment. Read on to make an informed decision.
No Evidence on Metaverse Development
At first glance, a metaverse on the Solana blockchain sounds like an innovative concept. After all, Solana was built for the Web 3.0 era, even though meme coins currently dominate the blockchain. Operating a metaverse on Solana means quick transactions and low fees. However, I found no evidence that the Solaverse metaverse actually exists.
It takes many years to build a credible metaverse ecosystem that’s worth using, especially when implementing features like AI, tokenization, and land ownership via NFTs. The Solaverse roadmap mentions a Q4 2025 release date—not for the Beta launch but for a fully completed metaverse with a native mobile app and presumably a community around it.
In theory, this would mean that the Solaverse metaverse is already operational, and it’s just the testing phase that’s left. However, it hasn’t released any footage to date, meaning presale buyers could be investing in a non-existent product. In my view, this is too big of a crypto red flag to ignore. After all, the metaverse is Solaverse’s primary product.
The Team Controls 85% of the Supply
Like Donald Trump’s recent meme coin launch, the founding team will retain most SOLA tokens. As mentioned, the team has opted for an anonymous structure, so there’s zero accountability if things go wrong. The biggest risk here is that the team could sell their tokens anytime.
I found no evidence concerning vesting lock-ups, which is what credible projects typically do when the team holds a large percentage of tokens. Ultimately, if those tokens suddenly end up on exchanges via sell orders, the SOLA price will likely collapse. Put otherwise, existing holders could be left with worthless tokens.
The easy solution for Solaverse is to create smart contracts that gradually release tokens into the market. This is similar to what the XRP team does, ensuring the newly released supply is predictable and steady.
300% Upside Could Mean an Early Price Capitulation
I mentioned earlier that investing early offers presale buyers a substantial discount. While I’m not against incentivization for early-stage backers, Solaverse’s pricing structure is unsustainable. It will likely find unprecedented selling pressure once SOLA tokens are eventually listed on exchanges.
Sure, some presale investors will look to hold long-term. The attraction of 300% returns over several months will be too good to turn down for many. However, if other investing opportunities are available elsewhere, the SOLA price could decline immediately, with early backers cashing in their gains.
Solaverse Price Prediction
I’ve compiled a Solaverse price prediction for 2025, 2026, and 2030. Read on for my SOLA forecast.
Solaverse Price Prediction 2025
According to Solaverse, SOLA tokens won’t be listed on exchanges until Q1 2026. This means the presale will be ongoing throughout 2025. Crucially, those investing won’t be able to touch those tokens for up to 12 months, meaning potential liquidity issues.
What’s more, many experts believe that the altcoin season will arrive later in 2025, as per historical crypto trends. If these predictions come to fruition, Solaverse could have missed the most bullish investing period. After all, altcoin season typically lasts for several months before the wider markets peak.
Solaverse Price Prediction 2026
Moving into 2026, the Solaverse metaverse should be fully launched, as per its roadmap. Solaverse’s TGE will happen between January and March 2026, with specific dates likely released closer to the presale conclusion. That said, a listing price of $0.05 per SOLA has already been confirmed.
History suggests the broader markets could be bearish during this period. In addition, we could see an immediate sell-off due to the 300% upside currently available. I predict an average SOLA price of $0.015 in 2026, converting to a 70% decline from the exchange listing price. The downfall could be even faster, depending on the metaverse release.
Solaverse Price Prediction 2030
Metaverse projects are long-term initiatives. However, current evidence suggests that no Solaverse metaverse currently exists, even though we’re several months away from the proposed release date. With this in mind. my Solaverse price forecast for 2030 is an all-time low of $0.002.
This would mean a 96% decline from the initial listing price and an 84% decline from the existing presale rate. These Solaverse price predictions are speculative, as they all depend on its metaverse product and whether the market responds to it. My forecast will be updated once I see real evidence that it exists.
Is Solaverse a Buy?
Consider the pros and cons below when deciding whether or not to buy Solaverse tokens:
Pros
- Potentially viable concept: While the metaverse hype has died down in recent years, it has every chance of returning during the next altcoin season. Solaverse could be well positioned to capitalize, considering it’s one of the few metaverse projects on the Solana blockchain.
- Early investing opportunity: If Solaverse’s metaverse succeeds, those joining the presale event will have a first-mover advantage. Especially considering the massive presale discount currently available. Long-term growth could result in big returns for those investing early.
- No presale minimums: Solaverse hasn’t implemented any minimum investment requirements. This is good news for those on a budget and investors with a low appetite for risk. A small investment could be enough to see generous growth.
Cons
- No TGE until Q1 2026: SOLA tokens will be listed on exchanges in Q1 2026, which could be as late as March. This is a long time for investment funds to be locked, meaning other opportunities could be missed. The purchased tokens won’t be available until after the presale, too, meaning there are no options to cash out early.
- Lack of metaverse evidence: The Solaverse team makes big claims about its metaverse ecosystem. Key features, including land ownership and AI avatars, could be massive for the Solana blockchain. However, Solaverse hasn’t released any evidence that its metaverse is a working product, which tips this into a major red flag for me.
- Post-listing volatility: Even if the Solaverse metaverse does come to fruition in late 2025, I still expect a big sell-off at the TGE event. There’s too much of a presale upside being offered, so many investors will inevitably look to lock those gains in straightaway. This will hinder the SOLA price potential.
Best Crypto Presale to Buy Instead of Solaverse
According to my Solaverse price prediction, the future doesn’t look bright for those investing in the presale. Just $17,000 has been raised so far, illustrating that many investors are skeptical. Not only is there an unsustainable upside of 300% being offered, but the team will retain 85% of the token supply.
This is without any verifiable vesting lock-ups. Most importantly, Solaverse claims its metaverse ecosystem will go live in Q4 2025 without any evidence or pre-release footage. Therefore, investors might consider other options when searching for the best crypto presales.
I discuss the best Solaverse alternative in the following sections:
Bitcoin Hyper
Bitcoin has shown consistent long-term growth over the years, but that success has come at a cost. With institutional investors now dominating the market, many retail participants feel left behind. The high entry point, slow transaction speeds, and limited functionality have made Bitcoin less accessible than ever.
Bitcoin Hyper offers a compelling alternative. It carries the spirit of Bitcoin while addressing its limitations, aiming to bring back retail participation with both affordability and innovation. The project’s vision is to evolve the Bitcoin ecosystem into something more dynamic and usable.
At the core of Bitcoin Hyper are strong technical foundations. It introduces a Layer 2 scaling solution for faster transactions, integrates the Solana Virtual Machine for decentralized app development, and uses a canonical bridge for cross-chain communication. These features enable new possibilities for users, developers, and meme coin traders alike.
While Bitcoin Hyper leans into meme culture with its superhero-style Pepe mascot, its utility-driven foundation sets it apart from standard meme tokens. It is not just another joke—it is a statement. With solid tech, a growing community, and an accessible entry point, Bitcoin Hyper has the potential to explode on the charts once it hits the open market.
