Maria discovered Bitcoin in 2013 when major news publications were covering the story of Bitcoin’s price surge as the financial collapse in Cyprus was happening along with the following bank bailouts.

After studying economics at university, Maria found herself keenly interested in the positive economic impact Bitcoin could have on the world and started learning everything she could about Bitcoin and altcoins, then later got into crypto mining as well. Maria has been writing content for 99Bitcoins for many years and when she isn’t working she finds herself immersed in crypto podcasts and YouTube videos, learning as much as she can about this rapidly evolving industry and everything it has to offer.
