The White House also formally announced that President Trump will host the first-ever Crypto Summit on Friday, March 7.
This landmark event comes as the crypto market stabilizes after two days of rapid volatility, during which Bitcoin, Ethereum, and leading altcoins relinquished gains from last weekend.
The summit will bring together industry leaders, including founders, CEOs, policymakers, and investors. The crypto and AI czar David Sacks will chair the summit, though President Trump will serve as the host. Meanwhile, Bo Hine, currently the director of the crypto working group established by the president, will oversee its administration.
So far, founders expected to attend include Brian Armstrong, CEO of Coinbase; Arjun Sethi of Kraken; Sergey Nazarov of Chainlink; and Michael Saylor, founder of MicroStrategy. Others include JP Richardson of Exodus, Matt Huang of Paradigm, and Brad Garlinghouse of Ripple.

It is expected that President Trump will deliver the opening remarks. However, whether his speech will emphasize his administration’s focus on crypto and emerging tech remains to be seen.
Additionally, the crypto community anticipates news on how the government plans to implement its crypto regulatory framework, with clear rules on stablecoin oversight.
More clarification regarding the crypto reserve will also be needed. The community wants additional details on the proposed structure and how the government intends to implement it.
