XRP Ripple is trading at $0.995, down -0.2% over the past 24 hours, sitting right at the line that has defined its entire post-election run. The streak, 635 sessions and counting above $1, is now within a rounding error of snapping. What happens if it does?
The scare has already come twice this month. A bridge exploit drained roughly $200,000 through a connector between the TX Chain and the XRP Ledger, briefly pushing XRP under $1 on August 11 and again on August 14.
Buyers stepped back in both instances before the daily close, but the pattern is getting thinner. This week’s chart tagged $0.9862 — a level last seen just before the November 2024 “Trump pump,” which eventually carried XRP Ripple to an all-time high near $3.65.
Bitcoin is down more than 3% this week and stuck below $64,000. Ethereum is struggling to hold $1,900. Meanwhile, Wall Street is partying; the S&P 500 and Nasdaq are near recent highs on the back of an Anthropic revenue jump.
Can XRP Ripple Price Hold $1 This Week?
$XRP really said f*** that lower low 😭
Now price is sitting right under the $1.164–$1.18 liquidity zone.
If that gets swept too…
I’m not saying $1.20+ is coming, but rn I’m definitely not fading this juicy setup.
Could give us one nasty relief rally before the sharp dump.… pic.twitter.com/ulnhN6YO9t

XRP’s immediate support band runs from $1.00 down to roughly $0.90, with $0.95 as the first psychological checkpoint if the round number breaks. Resistance is stacked in layers above: $1.04–$1.06 first, then $1.07–$1.09, with heavier supply parked around $1.18–$1.20.
Price is currently trading below both its 50-day and 200-day moving averages, inside a multi-week descending channel, a structure technicians generally read as a continuation pattern rather than a reversal signal, according to Coinspeaker’s August outlook.
Weak ETF inflows aren’t helping. XRP is “clinging to $1” amid fading institutional appetite. The bull case points to a recovery toward $1.10–$1.11 if buyers defend the floor. The base case is more of the same, sideways chop between $0.98 and $1.05.
The bear case: a confirmed daily close below $1.00, opening the door to the high $0.80s. For deeper chart context, see this XRP price prediction breakdown and a related analysis of resistance and whale activity.

LiquidChain Targets Early Mover Upside as XRP Tests Key Levels
A two-year streak hanging by a thread isn’t exactly a bullish selling point. Traders who bought XRP Ripple expecting fresh upside are instead watching a market cap near $62.2Bn grind sideways with fading ETF demand behind it, a heavy weight for a coin trying to make new highs.
That kind of stagnation is precisely why some capital is rotating toward earlier-stage plays where the addressable upside isn’t already priced in. This is where LiquidChain enters the conversation.
LiquidChain ($LIQUID) is a Layer 3 (L3) infrastructure project built to fuse Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana liquidity into a single execution environment, a “deploy-once” architecture that lets developers build on one chain and reach all three ecosystems without bridging headaches.
The presale is priced at $0.01491 with $940,963.24 raised so far. Standout features include a Unified Liquidity Layer and Verifiable Settlement, aimed at solving the fragmentation that plagues cross-chain apps today.
