Rumor Mill Continues To Heat Up With Ondo Finance Reportedly Partnering With The US Government To Tokenize Financial Assets
There have been strong rumors that refuse to go away regarding the US Government partnering with Ondo Finance to tokenize financial assets. BlackRock will reportedly support the initiative, which would see the world’s largest asset manager working with Ondo on this endeavor.
If and when this does come to pass, ONDO will likely go parabolic due to such an unprecedented move for a crypto project. Both BlackRock and President Trump’s World Liberty Financial (WLFI) platform already own multiple millions worth of ONDO, making it the blue-chip RWA project on the market right now.
Arkham Intelligence data shows that the World Liberty Fi wallet currently holds just over $380,000 worth of ONDO. It made the purchase in early February for $470,000 USDC. WLFI has continued to hold the RWA token even though the investment is down around 30%.

Another Day, Another Bullish ONDO Catalyst: Ondo Becomes First RWA Provider On Mastercard’s Multi-Token Network
Last week, it was announced that Ondo Finance will be the first provider to bring RWA to Mastercard’s new Multi-Token Network (MTN).
Regarding the initiative, Ondo said its short-term US government treasury fund (OUSG), the first tokenized real-world asset (RWA) on the Mastercard network, will allow businesses to earn daily yield via tokenized assets with 24/7 subscriptions and redemptions.
This is being done without requiring stablecoins onramps or settlement windows.
In a press release, Ondo’s chief strategy officer, Ian De Bode, said, “This partnership represents a landmark moment of connecting private payment network rails to tokenized assets on public blockchain networks.”
The MTN from Mastercard is reported to allow banks to connect to applications built on the network digitally and can manage the increased complexities involved with domestic and cross-border commercial transactions. It will offer greater transparency and faster settlement while also reducing time zone friction.
Both Ondo and Mastercard say the integration of OUSG to the MTN marks one of the first live instances of connectivity between a private payments network and tokenized assets on public blockchains.
