At the same time, Binance remains the largest exchange driving XRP crypto derivatives volume. At press time, XRP trading volume on Binance stood at over $2.3B. Meanwhile, the general skew is bullish across major exchanges, helping funnel more capital to some of the best cryptos to buy. On Binance, the long/short ratio, across top traders and accounts, averages 3, suggesting that more long positions are being opened.

The catalyst for this wave-up is the endorsement by Morgan Stanley analysts. In their assessment, the global bank said the underlying blockchain powering XRP crypto, the XRPL, could reshape the $155T cross-border payments industry.
The investment bank added that XRP could emerge as a formidable challenger for SWIFT, a legacy payment system. Unlike the traditional competitor, XRP offers near-instant settlement in a low-fee base layer.
Morgan Stanley added that XRP will also likely receive more capital injection should the United States SEC approve more spot XRP ETFs in 2025.
The Rex-Osprey Spot XRP ETF has been approved by the SEC following a 75-day review period without objection.
