Two corporate moves in August tell you where the smart money is positioning. Microsoft Copilot AI predicts Ethereum will go from $1,873 to $5,000 to $7,000 by the end of 2026, and the price prediction stretches toward $9,000 in its upper case.
SharpLink allocated $200M to an ETH treasury through Lido in August. That reduces the circulating supply while reinforcing staking yields.
Fidelity migrated $500M in ETH custody alongside it. Copilot reads that as durable institutional positioning rather than a short-term trade.

The protocol side brings a third variable. The proposed EIP-8363 reward adjustment could tighten issuance if adopted.
That would strengthen the deflationary profile despite validator concerns about the change. Copilot argues these catalysts hit liquidity, staking economics, and capital flows directly.
That directness is why it calls them timely drivers of price. Nothing here depends on a distant roadmap.
The bear case is narrower than usual. Weakening validator participation is the first risk.
Upgrade timelines slipping is the second. Either would cap ETH at $2,800 to $4,200, which still sits above current price.
AI Predicts Ethereum Price Prediction: Corporate Treasuries Are Quietly Locking Up Ether, Can Copilot AI Predictions Really Happen?
The chart has traveled a long way from those numbers. ETH peaked near $4,950 last August before the trend broke.
October and November cut price from $4,600 down toward $2,600. A December rally to $3,400 failed by February.
That month brought the sharpest leg, dropping ETH near $1,880. Spring recovered toward $2,450 by May.

June erased it, marking the low around $1,530. July rebuilt a base, lifting price back toward $1,950 before stalling.
The close reads $1,873.5, down 0.58% and $10.9 on the session. The daily range covered $1,870.4 to $1,889.5.
Support sits at $1,850, then $1,700 and $1,530 at the June floor. Resistance appears at $1,950, then $2,000 and $2,200.
RSI reads 49.76 with its signal line above at 52.55. The oscillator trails by nearly 3 points, indicating fading momentum after the July push.
Both readings hover around the midline. Neither side controls this market right now.
Copilot’s floor sits at $2,800, which price has not seen since December. Reclaiming $2,000 is the first step toward making that number look reachable.
If Ethereum’s Next Move Comes From Staking, Bitcoin Hyper Is Bringing That Playbook to BTC
Ethereum’s treasury story works because capital can do more than simply sit on-chain. It can stake, earn yield, and participate in an ecosystem built around programmable assets.
Bitcoin Hyper is betting Bitcoin can finally offer something similar.
The project is building a Bitcoin Layer 2 powered by the Solana Virtual Machine, bringing fast execution, low fees, and smart contract functionality to capital that has historically had far fewer ways to move. A Canonical Bridge is designed to bring BTC into that environment, while HYPER powers gas fees, governance, and staking across the network.
That gives Bitcoin Hyper a very different growth thesis from simply waiting for BTC itself to appreciate: turn Bitcoin liquidity into usable on-chain capital.
The presale has already raised more than $33 million, while buyers can currently stake HYPER for yields of up to 36% APY ahead of the platform’s planned 2026 rollout.
