Touted once as the next crypto to explode, the native token of Ethereum’s (ETH) Linea zkEVM Layer-2 network saw its price drop rapidly in the last 24 hours in anticipation of its token unlock on 11 November.

The market, in anticipation of the upcoming token unlocks, has made it even harder for LINEA to recover after last month’s sell-off, which started soon after the big airdrop in September.

Can LINEA Rebound To $0.15?
Currently, LINEA has captured its 20-day and 50-day exponential moving averages (EMAs) at $0.1250 and $0.1264, and is in the process of retesting the 100-day EMA at $0.1363.
For LINEA to continue its rebound, it must break decisively above its 100-day EMA before it can target the key level of $0.015.

Regarding its price action, on the positive side, large players such as SharpLink are investing in the network, and MetaMask is launching a $30Mn rewards program that could attract more users and boost productivity.
LINEA is already ranked at #13 in terms of total value locked (TVL). It aims to target 0.25 seconds per block by 2027, potentially bringing it to ETH’s performance.
On the downside, however, scheduled unlocks and leftover selling from earlier airdrops are still releasing a large number of tokens into the market.

Moreover, ETH itself is weak currently, and LINEA has dropped 36.5% more than ETH over the last month.
In the short term, LINEA’s outlook is cautious to slightly negative.
