The blog, written by Justin Makeig, Senior Product Manager at Google, with help from Ty Schenk, CEO of Keeta, focused on the efficiency and scalability of both Keeta and Spanner.
It also emphasized that Keeta isn’t just a proof of concept; it’s fully ready for cross-border payments, asset transfers, and large-scale real-world finance. It’s the first time ever for Google Cloud to post something about cryptocurrency.
Recently, Keeta Network ran a public, verified stress test on its network, which operates on Spanner, Google Cloud’s operational database. In the stress test, Keeta hit 11.1M TPS across 30M accounts and 25B+ transactions verified by Chainspect, far outpacing traditional layer-1 blockchains and unlocking new possibilities for blockchain tech.

This test serves as a major rebuttal to the FUD that hit Keeta and caused its price to drop. It solidifies Keeta as the fastest blockchain in existence and the first-ever L1 to be featured on the Google Cloud blog.
Keeta will also support tokenized assets, stablecoins, and digital identity—everything needed for real-world (RWA) financial use cases.
