Malicious Maxi Doge Copycat Has Siphoned Over $10M From Investors
As the copycat MAXI token launched on November 14, at a market cap of around $120M, the malicious developers quickly began selling and have tanked it to just $7M, wiping out over $100M in valuation in just three days.
It is a cheap attempt by scam developers to dupe investors into believing that this token is affiliated with one of the hottest crypto presales of 2025, Maxi Doge.
The market cap continues to decline, even at the time of writing, signaling a probable pump-and-dump scheme that will ultimately result in the token’s value plummeting to zero in the near future.
Worryingly, the fake MAXI token has processed over $8 million in daily trading volume, highlighting that many investors are still falling for the ruse, with vast amounts of money being lost by anyone who buys the scam contract.
