DOGE price analysis shows the leading memecoin trading at $0.094, up a modest +0.5% over 24 hours, according to CoinGecko data recorded on October 1, 2026. That leaves DOGE below the closely watched $0.098–$0.10 resistance zone, even as recent reports describe renewed interest in the wider altcoin market. Can new utility shift the story, or does the chart still call the shots?
The main Dogecoin-specific development is the public testnet launch of DogeOS, an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM)-compatible network intended to support applications such as trading and lending using DOGE.
Dogecoin Opens The Door to New Apps
DogeOS has opened its public testnet, adding an application layer to the Dogecoin ecosystem.
The network is designed to support smart contracts and Ethereum compatible applications.

Its test transactions use test DOGE for fees, and the project says it plans to use mathematical proofs to show that transactions followed the rules.
The first version, however, relies on selected operators, a permissioned sequencer that orders transactions, validators, hardware-based proof checks, and a Security Council. Dogecoin miners do not yet provide that oversight.
That distinction matters: more applications could create reasons to use DOGE, but they do not remove the risks of relying on a separate system.
DOGE Price Analysis: Can Dogecoin Reclaim $0.10 as the DogeOS Testnet Goes Live?

At $0.09431, DOGE is below the $0.098 resistance area and the psychological $0.10 mark. Binance’s snapshot shows a 24-hour range of $0.09397–$0.09608; CoinGecko’s October 1 data lists a broader range of $0.09290–$0.09794 and approximately $1.01Bn in daily volume.
Support is concentrated around $0.092–$0.093. If buyers defend that band and price pushes through $0.098, $0.10 becomes the next test; above it, reports point to supply near $0.11. The base case is continued range-bound trading beneath $0.10.
A sustained move below $0.092 would weaken that setup and expose DOGE to further downside. The research doesn’t include moving-average readings, so it can’t confirm a crossover signal here. The breakout case needs evidence, not just a lively testnet headline.

DOGE has a large established market, but price remains under resistance; even a successful move above $0.10 would not ensure a lasting rally.
That leaves some traders looking at earlier-stage meme-token projects, where potential upside comes with materially higher risk. The distinction is important: a presale is not a substitute for DOGE exposure, and its outcome is far less established.
Maxi Doge ($MAXI) is an Ethereum ERC-20 meme token built around a 240-lb canine character and a high-leverage trading-community identity. Its presale price is exactly $0.0002841, with total raised reported at $4,865,918.54.
The project lists dynamic APY staking, holder-only trading competitions with leaderboard rewards, and a Maxi Fund treasury intended for liquidity and partnerships. Its “1000x” language is branding, not a return estimate.
