$2.6 billion arrived in a single week, and the market barely blinked. That inflow anchors the latest Claude AI price prediction, which projects Ethereum (ETH) reaching $3,600 to $4,000 by year-end 2026, with $3,800 as the realistic base case.
U.S.-listed Bitcoin and Ether ETFs pulled in that combined total this week. It marks their strongest week since October 2025.
The signal matters more than the number. Institutional risk appetite is returning, and it is flowing directly into ETH rather than stopping at Bitcoin. The structural change comes next. Fidelity has moved to add staking with quarterly payouts to its spot ETH ETF.

That would let regulated investors earn yield without leaving the wrapper. Holding ETH stops being a pure price bet and starts producing income.
Development has not slowed either. Ethereum developers are reviewing 66 proposals for the next Hegotá upgrade. Glamsterdam is nearing mainnet in Q4. The scaling roadmap stays active on both fronts rather than pausing between releases.
The bear case carries real weight. BitMine’s treasury sits on $8.4 billion in unrealized losses despite nearing its 5% supply target. Resistance is the other risk. Failing to clear $2,600 risks a slide back toward $1,700.

The history here is a full cycle of hope and erosion. Ethereum price ran from $1,800 in May 2025 to a peak near $4,980 by September. October began the unwind. December through January held near $3,000 before February 2026 collapsed the structure to $1,740 in days.
Spring offered a weak recovery toward $2,450 that failed by June. Ethereum price then bottomed at $1,500 and spent July and August grinding back to a shelf near $1,900.

Last week broke that shelf upward. Ethereum closed at $2,482.1, up $19.4 for a gain of 0.79%, with a session range from $2,424.9 to $2,532.3.
Holding gains after a 30% run is the constructive read. Resistance sits at $2,532.3, then the $2,600 line that decides the bear case, then $2,800. Support ranges from $2,424 to $2,200, with $1,900 as the structural base.
RSI reads 79.65 against a signal line at 65.05. The 15-point gap is elevated but well short of the extremes seen elsewhere this month. The signal line has been rising since early July. That steady climb beneath the price argues that the breakout had a foundation rather than appearing from nothing.
Everything narrows to one level now. Clear $2,600, and the road toward $3,800 opens up.
EXCLUSIVE: Unlock AI Trading Strategies and Best Crypto AI Trading Bots With BloFinEthereum Is Turning Yield Into a New Buyer. Bitcoin Hyper Is Building a New Use Case for BTC.
Ethereum’s ETF story is evolving from simple price exposure into productive ownership. Once regulated, investors can earn staking yield inside the wrapper, and ETH becomes more than an asset to hold. Bitcoin Hyper is targeting a similar expansion in Bitcoin Capital.
Bitcoin Hyper (HYPER) is building a Bitcoin Layer 2 powered by the Solana Virtual Machine, bringing faster execution, low fees, and smart contract functionality to BTC without changing Bitcoin’s base layer.
Its Canonical Bridge is designed to move BTC into that environment, while HYPER powers gas, staking, and governance across the network.
The thesis is simple: Bitcoin already has enormous capital, but far fewer ways to put that capital to work on-chain.
Bitcoin Hyper’s presale has already raised more than $33 million, with buyers currently able to stake HYPER for yields of up to 36% APY ahead of the planned 2026 launch.
