A single whale just moved $163.94M into Bitcoin through the BlackRock Bitcoin iShares Trust, and the timing matters. Bitcoin is trading around $65,700, up roughly +0.5% in the last 24 hours, sitting at a technical inflection point that could define the next major move.
According to a widely circulated post by Whale Insider on social media, BlackRock clients purchased $163.94M worth of Bitcoin through the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the spot Bitcoin ETF that gives traditional investors direct exposure to BTC without holding the asset themselves.

Separately, TradingView data flagged an on-chain transfer of 2,700 BTC, approximately $168.6M, sent from a wallet associated with BlackRock to Coinbase in a single transaction, which analysts are reading as further evidence of sustained institutional positioning.
That kind of activity doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It lands against a backdrop of recovering market structure, a post-liquidation reset, and a Bitcoin price trying to claw back toward levels that matter. IBIT inflows have been a consistent institutional signal throughout this cycle, and this latest move puts fresh pressure on a key question: can BTC convert whale buying into a sustained breakout?

$BTC tapped our short-POI and shows a pullback.
If you took the short, I suggest you take some profits of the table and go BE.
For potential trades today I'm looking at a few scenario's here.

Bitcoin’s current setup is consolidation after chaos. The asset briefly broke below $60,000 during a broad liquidation event that flushed approximately $1Bn from the market, around $780M from long positions alone, before snapping back into the mid-$60,000s.
CoinGecko puts the 7-day gain at 2.60%, with a market cap near $1.33 trillion. That recovery is real, but it’s not yet confirmed. Support is holding in the mid-$60,000s. Below that, the $60,000 zone acts as the deeper floor, the level where buyers stepped in hard during the recent flush.
Resistance is clustered between $70,000 and $72,000, and that band is the key test. One widely shared trading thesis puts it plainly: “As long as BTC holds above the mid-$60Ks, the bull structure remains intact.”
Three scenarios from here:
- Bull case: ETF inflows sustain momentum, macro data cooperates, and BTC closes decisively above $70,000, opening a path toward $72,000 and beyond. Prediction markets such as Polymarket currently price in a 73.5% probability that Bitcoin will reach $67,500 by July 2026.
- Base case: BTC grinds sideways in the $64,000–$69,000 range as the market digests the recent volatility. Institutional flows continue quietly without forcing a breakout.
- Bear/invalidation: A loss of mid-$60,000s support sends price back toward $60,000. Fresh liquidations would reset the setup and likely delay any serious rally attempt.
Bitcoin Hyper Targets Early Mover Upside While BTC Consolidates at Key Levels
Bitcoin at $65,700 is interesting, but for traders who already hold BTC, whether in spot or via the BlackRock Bitcoin ETF, the upside to $70,000 or $72,000 represents roughly a +5–8% move from current levels.
That’s meaningful, but it’s not the asymmetric opportunity that defined earlier cycle entries. The institutional money is already in. Which raises the question: where does early-stage upside actually live right now?
Bitcoin Hyper ($HYPER) is making a specific bet that Bitcoin’s biggest limitation isn’t price; it’s infrastructure. The project positions itself as the first-ever Bitcoin Layer 2 with Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) integration, bringing fast, programmable smart contracts to the Bitcoin ecosystem while preserving Bitcoin’s underlying security.
The SVM (the execution environment that originally powered Solana’s speed) running atop Bitcoin is a genuinely unusual technical combination. The presale has now raised $32,975,500.31, with $HYPER currently priced at $0.0136835. Staking is live with a high APY structure for early participants.
