Changpeng Zhao (CZ), Binance’s co-founder, just came out swinging with a fresh prediction, saying the crypto market is headed for a new all-time high. He did not give a timeline, but the message was clear: he is expecting another big cycle.
But here is where things get interesting. During Binance Blockchain Week, Alice Liu, Head of Research at CoinMarketCap, actually put dates on it. She expects the market comeback to occur in Q1 2026, specifically in February or March, based on a combination of macroeconomic indicators.

Binance even posted the prediction on their official account, which made the whole thing feel even bolder. Two major voices dropping bullish comments on the same day definitely raised some eyebrows.
Still, predictions are just predictions. What matters more is how the market is actually behaving and what the charts are saying. So that is where the real answer is going to come from.

Despite the recent run, the loudest voices in the market are currently bearish, but even they are calling for a new all-time high before any deeper drop. They are basing it on the classic four-year cycle, where 2026 is expected to be the final year of the cycle and the point where Bitcoin pushes past its ATH before a new bear market kicks in.
Long term, that idea makes sense. Short-term, though, Bitcoin has one job: to hold above 92k. If it cannot stay above that level, the whole “next leg up” narrative gets delayed fast.
This weekly Bitcoin chart explains it best. It’s showing its first real sign of strength after a brutal slide, with the price rebounding cleanly from the S1 support zone, which ranges from 84k to 86k.
Buyers stepped in aggressively there, and now BTC is pushing back toward the first major resistance at 93k to 95k. The RSI tells a clearer story, though. It had been stuck under a falling trendline for weeks, signaling persistent bearish momentum, but that line finally broke and RSI even retested it successfully before bouncing.
That is classic behavior when momentum shifts from bearish to neutral and starts aiming bullish. If BTC can close above the R1 zone near 95k, the next upside levels sit at 100.7k and then 106.2k.
However, if BTC is rejected again at R1, it risks dropping back toward the mid-80k support level. For now, the structure suggests recovery, supported by a confirmed RSI breakout.
