The proof-of-work blockchain, which uses a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) for scaling, is gearing up for the Crescendo hard fork. Based on estimates, the hard fork will go live in early May, likely on May 5.

This update will introduce Node Version v1.0.0, officially improving scalability by 10X, from 1 to 10 blocks per second. With enhanced throughput, the network will be more responsive, improving user experience.
Kaspa is also actively building. Its GhostDAG protocol is a key differentiator, making the network attractive for developers. Unlike other DAG platforms like IOTA, the Ghost DAG protocol integrates the Nakamoto consensus, resulting in a more scalable, decentralized, and secure platform.
