Are Ethereum and BNB Increasingly Joining Forces? CZ and Vitalik Linking for Bull Run
Binance has actively supported Ethereum developers through various initiatives. For instance, Binance has joined forces with Gitcoin to offer grants to Ethereum builders, and Binance has mentioned supporting Ethereum-related projects or hackathons.
Not to forget that Binance ran an Ethereum mining pool in the past, which became one of the largest ETH mining.
After the FTX collapse in 2022, CZ and Vitalik worked together on the concept of proof-of-reserves. CZ announced that Binance would serve as a pilot for a new proof-of-reserves protocol.
Vitalik suggested this PoR to increase the transparency of crypto exchanges. This is a significant step towards rebuilding trust in centralized exchanges after FTX, which disrupted the bull run.

Through Binance Labs (now YZi Labs), Binance has provided grants to promising projects from these hackathons bull run. CZ’s YZi labs offer financial support, mentorship, and incubation services for ETH and BNB projects.
While CZ and Binance have their own blockchain ecosystem to promote, he also strongly supports Ethereum. Both CZ and Vitalik are always in public dialogues to discuss the future of web3.
