By: Shennon Hewa | Last updated: 1/6/24

Bitsler is one of the longest-running cryptocurrency casinos and sports betting platforms in the world. In this review I’ll cover some of the games they offer, their licensing and regulation, as well as their fees.

Bitsler Review Summary

Bitsler is a licensed online casino and sports betting platform that offers thousands of different casino games from many of the leading casino game developers, as well as a full-featured sports betting platform.

That’s Bitsler in a nutshell. For a more in-depth review, keep on reading. Here’s what I’ll cover:

  1. Overview
  2. Regulation
  3. Deposit and Withdrawal Fees
  4. Highlight Casino Games
  5. Sports Betting
  6. Currencies and Payment Methods
  7. Available Countries
  8. Customer Support and Online Reviews
  9. Conclusion

1. Overview

Bitsler is one of the oldest and longest-running cryptocurrency casinos and sports betting platforms, having been founded back in 2015 by Oyine N.V. It offers over 3,000 casino games, ranging from slots and table games, to live dealer and even in-house games – something that not many online casinos offer.

Bitsler, through its parent company, is licensed and registered in Curaçao. The reason most online casinos choose Curaçao for licensing is that it is much easier to obtain a gaming license in Curaçao than in the US, UK or Europe.

Bitsler’s website is easy to navigate and has been designed well with user friendliness in mind. The homepage offers links to quickly register with your email account as well as your Google or Twitch account. Bitsler’s in-house games are also showcased on the homepage along with their current promotions. Google and Twitch account support makes it even easier to sign up for Bitsler, and means you’ll be playing in no time.

Free-to-Play Mode

Bitsler offers a free-to-play mode where players can use free tokens to play games on Bitsler without risking real money.

You can claim Bitsler’s own token, BTSLR, for free and use it to play any of the casino games, including Bitsler in-house games. BTSLR has no real value, however, and cannot be withdrawn from the casino. Therefore, any winnings made using BTSLR cannot be converted into real money and withdrawn.

BTSLR balances are reset to zero every 12 hours, but players who accumulate the most BTSLR within a 12 hour period are eligible to win a share of Bitsler’s Ethereum prize pool.

2. Regulation

Bitsler is owned and operated by Oyine N.V. who, unlike the majority of online casino operators, only operates one casino. Within the crypto casino industry it is common to see 40 or 50 different online casinos being operated by the same parent company. It is positive to see that Oyine N.V. are focusing all their effort and resources on Bitsler. Like many online casinos, Oyine N.V. are licensed and registered in Curaçao.

Transparency and fairness are a key factor to look for when choosing an online casino and Bitsler prides itself on its transparency and provable fairness. Bets placed on Bitsler’s in-house games are provably fair and there is a dedicated page on the casino website that explains what provably fair means, also showing you how to independently verify the results of games.

As we do with all our casino reviews, we recommend that you take the time to thoroughly read the casino’s terms and conditions. Online casinos can be extremely strict when it comes to their terms and conditions. Any breach of their terms and conditions could lead to your account being closed, with any money held in the account being lost. Bitsler are not as strict as some competing casinos when it comes to their terms and conditions, however if you breach their terms the casino will not hesitate to close your account.

3. Deposit and Withdrawal Fees

Bitsler doesn’t charge any deposit fees, however there are some withdrawal fees that will apply when you go to withdraw your winnings. There are no minimum or maximum deposit amounts on Bitsler but there is a minimum withdrawal amount of approximately $10 USD.

Withdrawal fees are only charged to cover the network fees associated with making the crypto transaction from your Bitsler wallet to your personal wallet. This means that withdrawal fees will depend on the crypto and network you choose to make your transaction. All applicable withdrawal fees are shown when you go to the withdrawal page where you can also choose which crypto network to use.

4. Highlight Casino Games

Bitsler features over 3,000 different casino games for players to choose from, ranging from slot and table games to live dealer and in-house games. Bitsler also offers some game show games and board games such as Deal or No Deal and Monopoly Live, which is something that not all casinos offer. What sets Bitsler apart from the competition is their selection of in-house developed games, all of which are provably fair. Bitsler’s in-house games include classic card games like poker and blackjack, as well as some newer games like Plinko, Twist and Blast.

One thing worth mentioning is that whilst Bitsler’s in-house games are available to play straight after registering your account, casino games from other developers are locked until you provide some personal details, including full name, date of birth, address and phone number.

All the games on Bitsler are well laid-out and it is easy to navigate between the different types of games, thanks to the menu bar that allows you to filter by casino games, slot games, Bitsler games, live dealer games and much more. Despite having over 3,000 games to choose from, Bitsler has made it extremely easy to navigate their website and find the game you are looking for.

Slot games are some of the most popular games on online casinos. Bitsler has all the big name slot games from the established developers, including Aztec Magic Megaways and Elvis Frog. This is in addition to Bitslers two in-house slot games, Fruitsler and Crypto Thugs, both of which I tested for this review. Both Bitsler’s slot games and the established slot games are very similar in terms of gameplay and they all worked without a hitch.

When it comes to trying the table games, Bitsler has a wide variety of table games to choose from, whether it be Blackjack, Roulette or Poker. Table games require a bit more skill than slot games, however if you are a skilled player you may be able to tip the odds in your favor. I tried a range of table games, including the Bitsler in-house table games. All the table games I tried worked flawlessly without any bugs or lag. I enjoyed the simplicity of the in-house table games which didn’t feature the fancy animations you find on some table games but played without any lag and were easy to get the hang of.

Bitsler also offers some of the new-style games that are gaining popularity in the online casino world such as Blast and Plinko. Plinko is a fresh take on a classic game show where you make a bet per ball and drop them down a maze of pins, whichever box the balls lands in will determine how much you win or lose. Blast is a multiplier game in which you place a bet and decide what multiple you want to cash out at. The round then starts and the multiplier continues to rise until it reaches a random crash point. If your multiplier was before the crash point you win, but if the crash point was before your multiplier then you lose your bet.

5. Sports Betting

Bitsler also operates a comprehensive online sports betting platform that offers odds on over 25 different sports and 15 different eSports. Bitsler covers all the major sports and leagues including the English Premier League, UEFA Champions League, NBA, NFL, tennis, MMA  and many more. The sports betting platform is well-organized and can be navigated in the same way as most other major online betting platforms. The most popular leagues can be found near the top along with live events, for which Bitsler offers in-play betting.

As mentioned above, Bitsler also offers odds on over 15 different eSports and is one of the few online betting platforms to have a page dedicated to eSports betting. Bitsler offers odds on Counter Strike, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant and many more, including all the major global eSports tournaments.

One thing that sets Bitsler apart from competitors such as Stake or sportsbet.io is the fact that Bitsler also offers odds on global events such as Political Elections and TV/Movie award ceremonies. Bitsler was offering lines for winners of Best Actor & Actress at the Oscars, as well as lines for the winner of the 2024 US Presidential Election and the 2024 London Mayoral Election.

When it comes to odds, Bitsler offers very competitive odds which are comparable to other online sports betting platforms such as Stake or sportsbet.io. The only drawback to Bitslers sports betting platform is that they are missing some major sports such as Formula 1, but this is partially made up for with their Global Events betting.

6. Currency and Payment Methods

Bitsler is a crypto-only casino and thus you can only make deposits using crypto. However, if you don’t own any crypto, then you can easily buy a variety of cryptocurrencies using fiat currency directly through the Bitsler website thanks to their partnerships with Changelly and OnRamper. As far as supported cryptocurrencies go, Bitsler accepts a variety of cryptocurrencies including but not limited to:

7. Available Countries

Bitsler welcomes players from all over the world, provided you are located in a country where online gambling is legal and you are above the age of majority. There are however some countries from which Bitsler does not accept players.

This includes residents of the United States (including all overseas territories), the United Kingdom, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France (including all overseas territories), Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Arab Emirates, and a few others.

8. Customer Support and Online Reviews

Bitsler offers an extremely useful help center that features a comprehensive FAQ section that should answer any questions you may have. There are also step-by-step guides to help you with a variety of tasks such as setting up your account, making your first deposit or completing KYC verification.

If the guides and FAQ section haven’t answered your question, then you can speak to a customer support agent in real time thanks to Bitsler’s 24/7 live chat. From my experience using the live chat, the agents were extremely polite, quick to respond and were able to answer my question in a matter of seconds.

As far as customer reviews go, you’ll be glad to hear that Bitsler has glowing reviews across the board. Bitsler has an “excellent” rating on Trustpilot with 4.3 stars and over 80% of the ratings being 5 stars. There are over 200 reviews on Trustpilot so there is a decent sample size to go off.

Bitsler was also reviewed by askgamblers.com who gave them a CasinoRank of 8.45 and a Player Rating of 9.2, with over 100 reviews from players praising the casino for its fairness, in-house games and helpful customer service.

9. Conclusion

All things considered, Bitsler is definitely one to consider if you are on the search for an online casino or sports betting platform. Bitsler offers an enjoyable gaming experience and has made the registration process extremely simple thanks to the ability to use your Google or Twitch account to register.

I tried a variety of different games on Bitsler and they all worked without a hitch, which was great to see. Bitsler’s provably fair in-house games sets it apart from the competition and I really enjoyed playing the in-house games. The commitment to fairness and ensuring the provable fairness of games while educating players on how to verify the results of games, really puts your worries at ease if you are concerned about the fairness of online casinos.

The only downside I found was the fact that Bitsler does not directly support fiat deposits or withdrawals, but their integration with Changelly and OnRamper does make the signup process fairly frictionless even if you don’t own any crypto.

The only other downside to Bitsler is the long list of restricted countries that prevents residents of the US and a significant number of European residents from enjoying all that the platform has to offer.
