Discussing cryptocurrency with people who don’t know anything about virtual money can become rather difficult. The task is often hard because the basic concept of money itself is not visualized. I would say the best thing to do in this situation is to ask the following: do you understand the money in your own pocket?
It is said that Bitcoin holds no ideology and no political agenda. That the intention of Satoshi Nakamoto was to create a currency and ledger with no central point of authority. However, I contest that originally the purpose of Bitcoin had some and still has ideological intentions in the very definitions of counter-economics.
