What’s the deal with Dash?

Hi I am considering getting into Dashcoin mining.  I’m already mining BTC and LTC, and adding additional miners in either coin is just too expensive/hard to find.
Hard to find reputable-looking (not fake news!) info on Dashcoin, even on the Bitcointalk forum pages.  Could you please send some info, or better yet, post a review?  Mining pools?  Hardware reviews?

Hey Bruce,
Sounds like a good move. Dash is fairly profitable to mine right now, according to CoinWarz.com. Although it’s no longer in the top 10, it’s still within the top 30. Much depends on how the Dash price performs in future. I can’t say I follow developments around this coin however. Personally I favour Monero when it comes to “privacy coins.”
To answer your question, I wrote an article on Bitmain’s D3 Dash miner. You can find it here:

Antminer D3 Review – Dash ASIC X11 Miner

As for pools, I’d suggest using any of those mentioned on Dash’s official site – these should be totally legit:

Having never mined Dash, I can’t give you any more tips but I hope these links will help you out.
