I would like to complain about a bitcoin company What is the best place to do it ?

Hi Joshua,

Sorry to hear of your troubles. It would help a lot if you named the actual companies involved. You certainly could not have conducted business with Bitcoin itself, as it’s not a company which does business with the public but rather an open source software project and network.

Have you contacted the company and gotten any explanation for the delay? If the company is based in your country, it might be worth asking about them in the Philippino section of BitcoinTalk. Someone there will likely be able to confirm whether it’s a scam or not. I’d also suggest that you read through our “Bitcoin Scam Test” guide, to determine for yourself if the company is legit. You can find it here:

I’m afraid that even if you were to complain to some authority in the Philippines, they’d be unable to do much… The exception is if this company which has failed to send your funds is based in the Philippines and you can provide evidence. In that case, you might try opening a case of fraud against them. If they’re overseas, this will certainly be a more complicated process but perhaps worth trying. Otherwise, just publicise the incident on as many Bitcoin-related social forums as possible, so no one else falls for it.

Many bitcoin sites are not releasing cashouts. btcbox.in, rocketbitcoin/litecoin/dogecoin – these sites cashouts confimed but not credited in my wallet. I don’t find their contact details in their website. How to find out contact details of any site to complaint?

Lawal Abdullahi – I’m not sure you can, you’ll have to try to get them to send it back to you. Bitcoin transactions are irreversible (like cash).

Hello,
I have few sites for complain. the first one is hashpower.io it;s not paying any more and 2nd one is bitzilla.biz. is there any way I can get back my deposit?
Please let me know.
Thank you

Well it depends what is your complaint and what you want to achieve. You can either complain to the company itself or to the authorities in charge of regulation in the country specific to that company. Perhaps if you give some more information about the company and nature of complaint I will be better suited to help you.

Hey Alvaro, I’m very sorry to hear that. In regards to cloud mining the only thing I can say is that it’s either a scam or just not worth the investment. I know this may be too late however here’s a piece I wrote about this subject over a year ago.
In general I’d avoid any cloud mining / Bitcoin doubling websites. If you want this to be heard perhaps you can post your personal story + proof on Bitcointalk.org or reddit.com/bitcoin.

Hi Ofir,
Thanks for the prompt response.
I have in fact two complaints. I am an investor from Brazil and I am learning about the bitcoins.
The first is about a Miner company called GENESIS MINING ( https://www.genesis-mining.com ). They made a mistake and because of that mistake they stopped paying me the bitcoins they were paying daily, after I had complaint to them that it has stopped… they reactivated it but didn’t paid me for the 7 days it hasn’t paid.
The worst is that they are not answering my emails and phone calls. I sent several emails to the owners, one of them is Marco Streng, but it looks like he is too busy to answer it.
The second company is another minery company called The Miners ( https://theminers.biz )
I did a Withdraw 5 days ago, they say in their page the withdraws would be immediately but after 5 days it is still pending. I sent two or three emails asking what was the problem but no answer from them.
For me this kind of behavior will make the bitcoin community to evolve.
Before I sue them is there any regulator I can talk to or something I could do. They are doing a deservice to the evolution of bitcoin.
If you can help me I will appreciate ! Thanks in advance.
Best Regard

Hello Admin,
I have a common complain regarding two bitcoin websites namely, bitcity.biz and hashflash.biz. I have invested some BTC on their plan.
But, their website is not active for last week. Whenever I open their website it says
This site can’t be reached.
Is their any way out in getting them or to make complain on them?
Please guide me.

Ofir Beigel replied 6 months ago

Hello G K. Unfortunately there isn’t any way to get your Bitcoins back once you sent them. I assume you have fallen victim to one of the many Bitcoin scams out there. I’m sorry to say there not much I can do to help other than offer you some future advice by suggesting that you read this post: https://99bitcoins.com/should-i-invest-in-bitcoin-heres-what-you-need-to-know/
