TV Heart-Throb Zack Morris from the 90’s show ‘Saved By The Bell’ is bizarrely becoming the face of Solana meme coins, and nobody knows why.

There is a new main character on Solana, and it comes in the random form of Zack Morris, the lead character from the 90s American sitcom Saved by the Bell.

Zack Morris was the face of the show and was a super cool teenage heart-throb, constantly wooing the ladies and getting up to no-good at the fictional ‘Bayside High’ school.

It is perplexing that some 30+ years later, the Zack Morris character is having a resurgence in the form of a Solana meme coin.

The ZACK token was launched on 15 May to little fanfare as the Solana token was in a slight dip, and cat tokens were still front and center of the meme coin space.

There wasn’t much chatter on social media within the first few hours of launch, and after the initial launch pump, ZACK spent the next 36 hours ranging between $0.0004 and $0.0022.

One thing to note during this period is that every small dump was bought up by eager investors who were sidelined and looking for an entry. This was further evidenced by the holder count, which continued to rise even with the token price ranging.

This all changed as the weekend kicked into full flow and on Saturday ZACK entered ‘up-only mode’. It has been up nearly 900% since the Saturday lows and has also added over 4000 new holders since the beginning of the weekend, with 6700 holders as of the time of this article.

Even with this huge move up, ZACK still has a market cap of only $39 million. If he really will be the main character of this next phase of Solana meme coin szn, then a market cap of sub $40 million is tiny.

Compare ZACK to the big runners that have come before on Solana, such as WIF ($2.6 billion market cap), BONK ($1.6 billion), and MAGA ($370 million), and it is easy to see just how far ZACK could run if it maintains momentum.
