In a recent livestream, Charles Hoskinson, the founder of Cardano, confirmed ongoing discussions with RLUSD developers about integrating RLUSD.

While this is key for ADA, holders should remain cautious until Ripple, the private company, starts minting on Cardano, expanding from XRP Ledger (XRPL) and Ethereum.
For now, Input Output Global (IOG), the development team behind Cardano, will offer free support, a signal that this incorporation is massive for the blockchain.
Notably, major stablecoins like USDT and USDC do not currently operate on Cardano.
According to DeFillama data, Moneta (USDM) is the largest stablecoin on Cardano with a market cap of $11 million, followed closely by Anzens USDA (USDA) at $10.3 million.

This situation may explain why Cardano lags in DeFi, trailing Solana, Avalanche, and even Algorand, where USDC, USDT, or other top EVM-compatible stablecoins operate.
Integrating a major stablecoin like RLUSD would also boost ADA. Once it happens, ADAUSDT could easily break $1 and race to 2024 highs of around $1.40.
