The top self-custody crypto wallet, Best Wallet, is now a member of the WalletConnect Certified program, a major win for the year-old product.
WalletConnect’s certification program awards its coveted gold badge to wallets that meet its high user experience and security integration standards. The certification provides wallet users with quality assurance they can trust.
In the program, wallets are evaluated for safety, technical prowess, UX quality, and regulatory compliance, plus other criteria, such as feature integrations and commitment to innovation.
Best Wallet joins a lineup with many of the best-known names in crypto security and storage solutions. MetaMask, Trust Wallet, Ledger, Uniswap, and 1inch are certified wallets.
Including Best Wallet, 10 wallets, including Blockchain.com, BitPay, and Bitcoin.com, have been added to the existing 16.

Experts Are Already Labelling This Self-Custody Crypto Wallet the Best of the Best
The WalletConnect Certified badge is awarded as part of a community-driven process that enables crypto users to decide on the best self-custody solution for their needs.
To be eligible for the WalletConnect Certified gold badge, product providers must demonstrate full integration with the Bitcoin and Ethereum blockchains. Best Wallet integrates Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Base, and Polygon, with Solana coming soon.
In addition, to be considered for certification, wallets must be ranked among the top 50 wallets in the crypto space, as measured by usage.
Certification earns Best Wallet inclusion in the WalletConnect Wallet Guide, which provides a comprehensive listing of self-custody crypto wallets on the market.
Filter by ‘WalletConnect Certified, ’ and the guide will bring up the 26 certified wallets (as shown above), including Best Wallet. Users can also search by device type and network.

Launched in November last year, the WalletConnect Certified program provides a benchmark for excellence from a trusted provider of wallet integration services. WalletConnect delivers the most widely used wallet onboarding for Web3 products, whether DEXs or other services.
Pedro Gomes, founder and director of WalletConnect Foundation, sees the certification program as key to the company’s mission to improve the on-chain user experience.

Best Wallet’s BEST token is currently in presale and has raised $13.66 million from investors.
The wallet has received rave reviews for its ‘Upcoming Tokens’ feature, its in-app access to various iGaming products, its multi-chain, multi-wallet ecosystem, and state-of-the-art security.
Best Wallet will soon launch Solana support as it continues building out its product as the one-stop shop for crypto market participants. Best Card will be launched in the third phase of its payment roadmap.
