Pay your hosting services at Rivalhost with Bitcoins
Here’s another place to spend your Bitcoins: the hosting service and domain registration company Rivalhost. The website announced this Wednesday (10), through a press release, that it has started accepting cryptocurrency.
According to the note, “deciding to accept Bitcoin as a method of payment was a natural move for Rivalhost, which prides itself on being ahead of the curve”. So, now, this “leading provider of DDoS mitigation services and managed hosting” is the new member of the virtual currency club.
Rivalhost claims that the decision was made after the company received several requests from clients: “we’ve always aimed to be progressive. Our customers wanted Bitcoin as an option, so we offered it“, said the CEO and founder of the service.
Todd Reagor, who has more than 10 years of experience in the industry, states that “people want privacy, it’s that simple” and that is why Bitcoin is a great addition to Rivalhost. But, “it’s also not just about privacy. We have customers in nearly every place on the globe. There is a list of countries where PayPal isn’t even available. Banking is difficult. Bitcoin has no borders. We want to offer payment solutions that work for everyone”, he adds.
The website is using Bitpay as their payment processor for the cryptocurrency. For now, the company’s decision is having a positive feedback. Rivalhost “has received a good deal of positive feedback from the tech community” after deciding to accept Bitcoin, which they call the “new, digital frontier of money”.
