ChatGPT is being integrated into Apple devices. Meanwhile, Worldcoin could benefit even as WLD price drops roughly 70% from March peaks.
As AI technology has taken the world by storm, it has been impossible to miss the rise of OpenAi. ChatGPT had amassed over 1 million users less than a week after launching. Three months later, the number rose to over 100 million.
Over 200 million people now use the AI chatbot when writing every month, out of which over 77 million are from the United States.
The OpenAI-developed product is, no doubt, a massive success.
Aware of the potential of technology, Apple, another successful mobile phone and chipset manufacturer, is riding this wave.
Apple Integrates ChatGPT, Triggers Privacy Storm
In an announcement, Apple CEO Tim Cook said they were integrating ChatGPT, allowing iPhone users to leverage the tool.
The chatbot will be available on iPhone 15 Pro, iPad, and Mac with M1 or later.
Interestingly, the assistant will enhance Siri, the virtual assistant, and introduce new capabilities like text-to-image generation, creating original emojis, and even introducing AI to the iPhone photo application.
The news sparked mixed reactions but cast a spotlight on Worldcoin (WLD), another crypto project by Sam Altman, the CEO of Open AI.
If anything, the decision to incorporate ChatGPT is massive and, most importantly, a big step forward towards AI accessibility.
Following this integration, iPhone users can now interact with sophisticated virtual assistance that has improved its capability over time and can now understand and process responses to complex questions.
Even so, there are security concerns.
Taking to X, one iPhone and Apple device owner said he would be binning all Apple gadgets.
This is because OpenAI allegedly “scraps data and images to train its model.”
I threw out all my iPhones devices today
After they announced an integration with ChatGPT
ChatGPT has been scraping data and images to train its model so why don’t you think they’d do that to you?

With this integration, he claims the bot would have unfettered access and would be “everything on the iPhone.”
At the same time, Elon Musk, the owner of X, said all Apple devices would be banned at his companies.
If Apple integrates OpenAI at the OS level, then Apple devices will be banned at my companies. That is an unacceptable security violation.

It will even be worse for visitors; they will “have to check their Apple devices at the door, where they will be stored in a Faraday cage.”

Worldcoin Hires New Executive, Conducts Survey In Spain Even As WLD Drops 70%
The news coincides with the appointment of Elliott Suthers, a former Coinbase executive, as Worldcoin’s head of communications for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
With his experience in policy, Worldcoin said he would help the company navigate the complex regulatory landscape.
Worldcoin has been banned in several countries, including Spain and Kenya.
Specifically, its iris-scanning technology via the “orb” has been a source of contention.
Like the ChatGPT-Apple storm, critics raise privacy concerns about the project’s data collection practices.
The controversy surrounding Worldcoin’s data harvesting intensified when Spain banned the project earlier this year.
However, Worldcoin claims that results from a recent survey gathered opinions from 21,000 users indicate that most of them support its return.
(WLDUSDT)
So far, WLD is tracking lower, dropping roughly -70% from March highs.
As bears press on, the immediate target would be February lows at around $2.1.
