Recently Coin Fire told you about an exciting new messaging platform called Gems, and we’ve recently learned that Koinify may be hosting the initial crowd offering of Gems in the near future.

Gems is an exciting new social platform that promises to bring the power of the network back to the people with encrypted messages and a token called Gems that provides value. Gems are distributed to users for using Gems and supporting the network. The application will initially launch on iOS and will also launch an Android application soon after.

The Koinify website has been updated to show the ability to be added to a mailing list for what seems to be the Gems offering based on earlier marketing materials from Gems:

The site has a teaser that simply reads:

WE HAVE SOME GEMS FOR YOU
? + ? + ?”

While this seems to be a very strong hint at Koinify on boarding Gems as their first crowd sale, there is no official announcement stating so.

Koinify is a crowd funding platform for decentralized applications, and it seems that Gems may fit that category. Koinify has made no announcements in the past on a set launch date for their platform.

Coin Fire got in touch with Tom Kysar of Koinify, who was able to tell us a little more about the new homepage teaser.

“We can’t say much, other than we have some awesome things in the pipeline. The teaser will be updated throughout the week revealing more information, so we recommend watching there for any new information surfacing.”

While there is no official confirmation nor initial sale launch date, this is still a project that many in the cryptocurrency community are excited for and are watching. Coin Fire will be providing any further information we get in the near future.

Having delved into futures trading in the past, my intrigue in financial, economic, and political affairs eventually led me to a striking realization: the current debt-based fiat system is fundamentally flawed. This revelation prompted me to explore alternative avenues, including investments in gold and, since early 2013, Bitcoin. While not extensively tech-savvy, I've immersed myself in Bitcoin through dedicated study, persistent questioning, hands-on experience with ecommerce and marketing ventures, and my stint as a journalist. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and presently, I'm focused on crafting informative guides to shed light on the myriad advantages of Bitcoin, aiming to empower others to navigate the dynamic realm of digital currencies.
