Green Man Gaming now accepting bitcoin.
With a catalog of over 5200 games from more than 350 video game publishers Green Man Gaming is a British based company that is known among the world over.
The company owns game-tracking social media network Playfire. Playfire allows users to automatically track their game play and in-game achievements / trophies from Steam, PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. Playfire users who link their Steam ID to their Playfire account are also eligible to earn Playfire Rewards.
Those shopping online at Green Man Gaming who also enjoy bitcoin now have an option of paying for any purchase with the digital currency.
The company stated that after hosting a Buyer Survey in early May that over 89% of respondents said they ““think it is important for stores like Green Man Gaming to offer a wide selection of payment methods.” After the survey the company realized that customers expected a diverse range of ways to pay for the games they wanted to play and that by offering more methods they could make customers happy and make more money.
