Chain.com Joins Bitcoin Foundation as Gold Member

Last Updated: Jan 2, 2018

This morning Chain.com joins eight Gold level members in supporting the Bitcoin Foundation’s role in the ongoing development of the bitcoin core protocol.

“Chain is making several investments in bitcoin core development, and the foundation spearheads some of the most important dimensions of that work,” said Adam Ludwin, co-founder of Chain.com. He adds, “We want to make sure the foundation has the resources and support it needs to help the bitcoin community build products and services for Bitcoin to fully realize its potential.”

Chain.com’s mission is to make it easy to build with bitcoin, and this month they introduced two more exciting tools to help developers do just that. The first, Chain Notifications, reliably pushes bitcoin data to applications and is managed through an easy-to-use interface. The second, Transaction Builder, takes the complexity – and risk – out of creating and signing transactions by using just one simple API call.

Chain.com is a venture-backed technology company based in San Francisco, provides enterprise-grade bitcoin infrastructure to thousands of developers and financial services companies that build products and services on the bitcoin block chain.
