The Bitcoin Blackout

By Coin Fire

Last Updated: Jan 2, 2018

Coin Fire will be joining the Bitcoin Blackout taking place on August 20th.

The Bitcoin Blackout was created to help bring light to the BitLicense proposal and the potential it has to do serious damage to innovation in the cryptocurrency space.

The creators of the site whom reached out to see if we would take part have uploaded some javascript to paste bin where users can implement it themselves.

They also are providing a hosted version (we always express caution to such things) and suggest using the self-hosted version.

This is one of the more innovative things we’ve seen to drawing some attention to the BitLicense issue and will certainly be taking part.
