Jeffrey Tucker: “Bitcoin makes the dollar look like a dinosaur”

Jeffrey Tucker, the famous executive editor of Laissez Faire Books, blurted out an explosive sentence on television. According to the distinguished member of the Foundation for Economic Education, “Bitcoin makes the dollar look like a dinosaur”.

The writer and editor was one of the guests in a recent show hosted by John Stossel and transmitted by Fox Business. The main theme was around the issue of gold as an investment, but the conversation went another way.

Tucker said Bitcoin “was a great innovation” and a “currency for the digital age”, tearing applauses from the audience. And, in the economist’s opinion, “the best thing is that the governments are not involved, it was created by the market itself (…), it’s brilliant”.
