Coin Brief Needs More Coin Representatives!

We recently posted an open invitation for Coin Representatives from the various digital currency communities.  The response from this has been quite good, and we have at least 1 representative from more than 10 digital currency communities at this point (with some communities providing as many as 3).  However, this is not enough!  As we grow, we will increasingly need representatives from the community to show our users why their currency is worthwhile.  While we try to cover as much as we can, with a focus on Bitcoin obviously, it is not possible for us to understand, analyze, and write about every digital currency.

So, please, if you are a member of a digital currency community that we are not covering regularly, and does not have representation (or even if we do, and it does), feel free to contact us about becoming a representative.  Of course, you need to be an actual member of the community, and fairly active, to accurately represent that community.  Here are the general guidelines we use when determining acceptance for a Coin Representative:

  1. You are an active, supportive member of your community.
  2. In the past, you have refrained from attacking members of other communities without justification (this is a position to promote your currency of choice, and show it’s worth…not slam others)
  3. You have the desire, and ability, to write about your currency, and understand it well enough to do so accurately.

General rules that are provided to our Coin Representatives can be found here, and will explain what we expect in terms of behavior from Coin Reps.

When contacting us, please provide your Coin Brief username (create one with the “Register” button at the top right of the screen if you do not have one yet), your Reddit username if your coin’s community is most active in a subreddit, or a forum username if your coin has a community that is centered around a certain forum.  We will use this information to verify that you are actually a supportive member of your community, and will message your RedditForum account to verify that the emailmessage we have received is legitimate.

We can be contacted via [email protected], @CoinBrief on Twitter, or you can message DynamicDK on Reddit.
