The Seattle Bitcoin Summit is coming up quickly on September 28th and runs through September 29th at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle Washington.

The first major Bitcoin Summit in the great northwest will explain the “next generation of payments.” The sessions will explore innovative alternative cryptocurrency opportunities including practical applications in business from Susan Hitch, CFO of D Hotels and Edward Clements with BitBrew.

Presenters at the conference include Overstock.com CEO Jonathan Johnson, Co-Founder of BitPay Anthony Gallippi, Litecoin creator and Coinbase Creative Director Charlie Lee, Patrick Murck General Counsel for The Bitcoin Foundation, Managing Director of The BitAngel Fund David E. Johnston, Jason King of Sean’s Outpost, Bruce Fenton from the Bitcoin Association and many more.

“Overstock.com experienced a significant first-mover advantage by adopting bitcoin as a payment alternative,” said T. Steel Rose, CPA, editor of CPA Magazine, a co-sponsor of the event. “It’s emblematic of the character of the bitcoin community’s open source attitude that they are sharing their success with the bitcoin technologists and business leaders.”

Seattle Bitcoin Summit will take place on the day prior to the largest Digital Retailer Technology event, Shop.org, in downtown Seattle at the Washington State Convention Center. More information and early registration is available at www.seattlebitcoinsummit.com.
