A Blockstream conseguiu um investimento bilion\u00e1rio em d\u00f3lares para lan\u00e7ar tr\u00eas fundos institucionais, sendo que dois deles v\u00e3o contar com recursos para empr\u00e9stimos lastreados em Bitcoin.<\/p>\n

A organiza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 uma das maiores empresas de solu\u00e7\u00f5es de desenvolvimento para Bitcoin.<\/p>\n

Na \u00faltima ter\u00e7a-feira (04\/03), a Blockstream anunciou no X que suas ofertas institucionais de Bitcoin estar\u00e3o ativas no dia 1\u00ba de abril. <\/span><\/p>\n

Capital externo come\u00e7ar\u00e1 a ser aceito a partir de 1\u00ba de julho, conforme <\/span>reportagem da Bloomberg<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Os novos produtos v\u00e3o incluir empr\u00e9stimos e investimentos institucionais tendo o Bitcoin como garantia<\/a>. Dessa forma, ser\u00e1 poss\u00edvel solicitar empr\u00e9stimos em d\u00f3lar, sem precisar vender seus BTC.<\/p>\n

Blockstream entra na gest\u00e3o de ativos<\/span><\/h2>\n

A Blockstream apresentou seu neg\u00f3cio de gest\u00e3o de ativos em janeiro, com dois produtos: Blockstream Income Fund e Blockstream Alpha Fund.<\/span><\/p>\n

O Income Fund \u00e9 focado em empr\u00e9stimos que variam entre US$ 100.000 a US$ 5 milh\u00f5es. Enquanto isso, o Alpha Fund mira o crescimento do portf\u00f3lio por meio de diferentes fontes de receita.<\/span><\/p>\n

A companhia assegurou, inicialmente, US$ 210 milh\u00f5es em financiamento, por meio de notas convers\u00edveis, em outubro do ano passado.<\/span><\/p>\n

Agora, a empresa passa a oferecer diversos produtos para investimento em ativos digitais, assim como outras grandes gestoras de criptoativos, a exemplo da Grayscale e da Galaxy Digital.<\/p>\n

O CEO da companhia,\u00a0Adam Back, criticou o recente an\u00fancio do presidente dos Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, sobre uma reserva estrat\u00e9gica de criptomoedas<\/a> no pa\u00eds. <\/span><\/p>\n

Trump afirmou que, al\u00e9m do Bitcoin, a reserva contaria com Ether, XRP, Solana e Cardano. <\/span><\/p>\n

Logo surgiram cr\u00edticas, no entanto, argumentando que o foco de quaquer reserva cripto do governo deveria ter apenas Bitcoin.<\/span><\/p>\n

Empr\u00e9stimos cripto enfrentam desafios<\/span><\/h2>\n

O setor de empr\u00e9stimos cripto passou a ser olhado com desconfian\u00e7a desde o colapso de empresas como Genesis, BlockFi e Celsius, em 2022.<\/span><\/p>\n

Esses fracassos, aliados a pr\u00e1ticas como “rehipoteca\u00e7\u00e3o”, erodiram a credibilidade dessa ind\u00fastria.<\/span><\/p>\n

No entanto, ocorreram alguns desdobramentos positivos. No come\u00e7o deste ano, Lava, uma plataforma de empr\u00e9stimos de Bitcoin baseada em Nova York, levantou US$ 10 milh\u00f5es em financiamentos de S\u00e9rie <\/span>A. O capital veio das empresas de VC <\/span>Khosla Ventures e Founders Fund.<\/span><\/p>\n

Esse investimento vai ajudar a plataforma a viabilizar empr\u00e9stimos em d\u00f3lares, tendo Bitcoins como garantia. Desse modo, promete solucionar um desafio comum para investidores cripto que gostariam de alavancar seus ativos, sem necessariamente vend\u00ea-los.<\/span><\/p>\n
