This morning, BitPay announced a new collaboration and partnership with Heartland that will offer new bitcoin payment options for Heartland customers using the BitPay platform.
Heartland hopes to allow current SMB customers the ability to offer bitcoin payment transactions. Heartland has stated that this new partnership will allow them to work with BitPay in order to provide a life in buyer conversion rates, reduce the total cost of payment acceptance, and facilitate purchases between non-U.S.-based buyers and U.S.-based SMBs.
Heartland Payment Systems employs nearly 3,200 people and is based in New Jersey. The company has a wide range of regional offices that deploy team members to help SMBs setup and bring merchant terminals online.
