Power Consumption

Jesus asked 11 months ago

Greetings, i was looking at this site’s “Best Bitcoin Mining Hardware for 2017 | 7 Bitcoin Miners Reviewed” and i noticed that in the comparison chart there is a “Power Consumption” spec. Is this on a monthly basis?? I am trying to make some sort of analogy with some common home appliance in regards of power consumption, to understand it better and to be able to explain it better to someone if i need to. For example something like “This bitcoin miner has the same consumption as this air conditioner” or something to that effect… Thanks in advance.

Hi Jesus,
The power consumption is defined in Watts. You can see the exact definition of a Watt here. Also for comparison a refrigerator usually uses between 100 to 200 Watts.
