have been trying to move my entire bitcoin balance from blockchain.info to exodus but couldn’t find my private key, was only able to find my public key. if there’s any solution that can be recommended would be greatly appreciated.
Blockchain.info’s wallet now works with a seed phrase and not a private key. You can export that seed phrase under “Settings” -> “Security” -> “Wallet recovery phrase”.
However if you just want to transfer your balance why not just send the Bitcoins from Blockchain.info to the new wallet? No need to import the private key.
I haven’t encountered this particular error before but if it persists (it may go away once a transaction you’re awaiting confirms), then it should be possible to export your Blockchain.info private key into a new wallet. If the problem hasn’t cleared up soon, please open a new, separate question in our Ask Me Anything section and I’ll do my best to help you out there.

Hi Tavona, I am sorry to hear your story, however if you gave out the private key there is not much you can do, as with that he fully controls you Bitcoins now.
Very True Ofir…..well i have a different question, i bought bitcoins from a vendor who scammed me, he said my wallet was refusing to send the bitcoins so he gave me instructions to import a wallet he was creating, once it was completed i received the wallet and the balance …then the vendor vanished…..only to realize the wallet he made me import was a Watch Only Wallet on blockchain…so he has run away with the private key im good as someone who lost his money……i tried everything i know to unlock that wallet…..is there any way out there i can recover my stolen bitcoins…i have the wallet imported into my blockcahin.info wallet
