Ethereum

Harry asked 10 months ago

I am primarily interested in buying and selling Etherum . I have signed on for your crash course emails but as someone who hasn’t previously traded I have several relevant questions.
Based on positive reviews which site would you recommend to open an account?
What is the usual turn around time for a buy or sell to take effect?
While I am not looking at investing serious sums of money there are some sites which seem to have ridiculously low buying or selling limits. So this relates to the question about a recommended site.
Thanks in anticipation of your response.  Harry

Hi Harry,

Ethereum has reached a lot of exchanges by now. I don’t know which region you’re from, but BitStamp.net is a good choice which covers most parts of the world. Kraken.com is good too. Both these exchanges offer Ethereum and high limits, although you will need to fully verify to gain access to their higher limits.

The turn around time is pretty much instant once your account is funded. Depending on your payment method, it can take a few days to fund your account however.

For peer to peer trading, which shouldn’t require verification in most cases, also check out https://localethereum.com/
