I was trying to buy a mining contract via blockchain, sent funds to miner, but they said I didnt pay fast enough and closed the transaction while I was paying.   The btc transaction is unconfirmed, and unspent.    I dont want to wait 5-14 days for it to be returned if I dont have to.   Is there a way to claim it?   I contacted the miner and they are so busy, they dont answer.   thx

Hi Brad,

Sorry to hear of your troubles. I see that the transfer has in fact confirmed. This means there’s no possible way to reverse. You will have to wait for the miner to return it, hopefully they will…

Who were you purchasing the mining contract from? It’s not right that they should cancel the trade because it took long to confirm – I can see you paid a reasonable mining fee and it’s not your fault that the network was under heavy load so that it took a long time to confirm your transaction.

That said, there isn’t much that can be done short of starting legal proceedings against the miner. Many cloud mining services are scams, so hopefully you didn’t get involved with a disreputable company.
