#1. CoinPoker Best Overall Ethereum Poker Site

At CoinPoker, you can deposit and withdraw instantly via Ethereum through a decentralized private wallet. The platform automatically converts ETH into USDT for gameplay, ensuring seamless transactions and a stable in-game balance.

This is a P2P poker site, so you can take on your fellow players in cash games, tournaments, and sit-and-goes. There are plenty of Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, and 5 Card PLO, too.

CoinPoker

For me, CoinPoker is the perfect ETH poker site. There are tournaments ranging from 1 USDT up to 5,000 USDT. You’ll also find cash games from 0.02/0.05 USDT up to 500/1000 USDT where 6-figure pots are common.

I’m a regular in the 10 USDT to 50 USDT buy-in Texas Hold’em tournaments. If I hit a big tourney win, I splurge a bit at the PLO cash game tables. However, it’s the CoinMasters promotion that stands out, where collecting seven unique coins will put you on the $100,000 Championship Table. Qualifying players even get coaching from a leading poker star ahead of the final!

CoinPoker also has a few outstanding bonuses. You can pick up 33% rakeback for all poker games, and when you make your first ETH deposit, unlock a 150% bonus up to $2,000! This welcome bonus stands out for its generous wagering requirements, where you only need to generate 0.2x in rake (of the bonus amount) to release a cash sum – albeit 10% at a time.

#2. Betpanda Best Ethereum Poker Site for Video Poker

Over the years, I’ve become a bit of a video poker connoisseur. When I feel like chasing a royal flush, I head to Betpanda. This ETH poker room has about 20 titles, including Joker Poker, Aces & Eights, and Pineapple Poker.

Betpanda has tons of exotic variants I’d never heard of before, such as Russian Poker; I thought Russians only played roulette. Legit providers like Habanero, Spadegaming, and Microgaming power all titles.

#5. Cryptorino — Register Within Seconds and Enjoy 10% VIP Cashback

At most no-KYC ETH poker sites, you have to reveal your name, and the casino can request your ID at any time, but not at Cryptorino! Furthermore, all crypto payments, including ETH deposits and withdrawals, are processed instantly, so you won’t have to wait long to receive your winnings.

Cryptorino doesn’t offer peer-to-peer poker, but I have fond memories of hitting a royal flush at the Pai Gow tables and cashing out a 150x win! #6. Lucky Block Great Selection of Live Poker Games

At Lucky Block, you can play online poker with Ethereum and some of the best altcoins. This is my go-to ETH poker site for virtual casino poker, where RNG-based games from Microgaming and Betsoft run the show. Triple Edge Poker is a highlight, coming with a 97.99% RTP and side bets.

If you only play one live game at Lucky Block, try 6+ Poker from BetGames TV, where cards 2 through five are removed from the deck. This leads to a faster-paced, high-stakes version of traditional Texas Hold’em as you take on a human dealer.

Lucky Block Casino Homepage

Lucky Block also features plenty of video poker variants like Deuces Wild (Betsoft). I’ve hit some big wins on Ethereum video poker, including a couple of straight flushes, so I’d recommend playing a couple of hands.

Of all the Ethereum poker sites I’ve deposited at over the years, Lucky Block has one of the biggest welcome bonuses. When you deposit just $20 worth of ETH, you’ll get a 200% match up to $25,000!

Check out our Lucky Block review to see what other promos they have in store.

Pros:

  • Instant ETH deposits and withdrawals
  • Welcome bonus includes 50 free spins
  • Take part in free daily jackpots
  • Play poker via Telegram
  • 15% weekly cashback with $LBLOCK

Cons:

  • No P2P poker
  • Lack of live casino poker games

#7. TG.Casino Best Mobile Ethereum Poker Site

TG.Casino is one of the best anonymous casinos due to its integration with Telegram – the popular mobile messaging app that allows you to deposit, withdraw, and play games directly within the chat interface, all while maintaining a high level of privacy and convenience.

I’ve been on a Crystal Poker kick lately at TG.Casino, a slot-type poker game packed with bonus games, bonus symbols, random multipliers, and a max win of 100x. Although crystals are used instead of standard playing cards, hitting Texas Hold’em combinations is still the name of the game.

TG.Casino Homepage

Other things I appreciate about TG.Casino are fast crypto payouts that are processed within minutes. Apart from ETH, you can deposit and withdraw via some of the best cryptocurrencies to buy. There are also some giant bonuses, starting with a 200% deposit match up to 10 ETH and 50 wager-free free spins!

Check out all this and more in our exhaustive TG.Casino review.

  • Licensed by Anjouan Gaming
  • Telegram app mobile integration
  • 25% cashback for all poker games with $TGC

#8. Wild.io — Get $1,000 Daily Cashback When Playing Poker

Video poker is booming at Wild.io with 20+ options. Super Video Poker by KA Gaming has an incredible 99.54% RTP. I’ve managed to clock in several winning sessions on this game. There are some other fun variants, such as Joker Poker by Wazdan and Caribbean Stud by Gameart.

wild io casino

Wild.io is packed with great bonuses and features, including weekly reloads that increase in value depending on your loyalty level, and weekly free spins that increase in quantity depending on your deposit amount. You’ll also find a prize wheel of fortune, a Wild.io lottery, and a bonus shop.

#9. WSM Casino Best VIP Ethereum Casino with 25% Weekly Cashback

If you play high-stakes casino poker, I recommend WSM Casino, as it has the best VIP program. You can get 25% cashback, rakeback, and huge reload bonuses. To top it off, when you make your first ETH deposit, you’ll get a hefty 200% welcome bonus up to $25,000!

Play video poker with 99%+ RTPs and get 25% of your losses refunded

One downside of WSM is the limited number of casino, video, and live dealer poker games, with only 12 titles to choose from. The quality of games is still impressive, which includes Hold’em Poker (Microgaming), Russian Poker (OneTouch), and Caribbean Stud Poker (Game Art).

The casino games selection on the rest of the platform is stellar, as is the packed sportsbook. The promotional lineup includes various tournaments hosted by big network suppliers, with massive prize pools being shared between winning players.

Instant Casino ranks high among crypto casino players for offering its players a simple, convenient, and enjoyable experience. How We Ranked These Ethereum Poker Sites

Unlike many of these so-called reviewers who are conveniently pushing you to crypto poker sites that pay the biggest referral commissions, I’m a poker player. I only green-light ETH poker sites that excel based on these factors:

Safe Crypto Payments

ETH poker sites are juicy targets for cyber threats, so it’s essential to stick to poker rooms that take security seriously. The best cryptocurrency poker sites keep most of their crypto in cold storage and employ security protocols to keep your account safe, like 2FA, requiring you to verify withdrawals, block unknown IPs, and notify you of suspicious behavior.

Number of Poker Variants

When I rank Ethereum poker rooms, I give brownie points to sites with tons of poker options. Even though I’m mainly a Texas Hold’em MTT grinder, I know some players like PLO cash games while others prefer live casino poker. In the perfect poker room, you can play all at the same time!

Lightning Quick Payments

At the top Ethereum poker sites, your deposits and withdrawals arrive within minutes. Based on extensive testing, the poker sites I recommend never take longer than 10 minutes to process transactions, and sometimes I got my winnings in 30 seconds! There’s no reason you should put up with a shady operator delaying payments and taking 24 or even 48 hours to process transactions.

Bonuses, Promotions, and VIP Program

Deposit matches, rakeback, poker chips — as an online Ethereum poker player, you receive a healthy chunk of free play. I’m constantly on the hunt for ETH poker sites that offer enticing welcome bonuses and keep giving back to existing players via generous VIP programs and rakeback.

Low Crypto Withdrawal Fees

If you’re an Ethereum enthusiast, you know every time you move ETH, you need to pay gas to keep the network going. While network fees are unavoidable, many poker sites profit by charging additional withdrawal fees. I look for free Ethereum poker sites that don’t steal a portion of your winnings with unnecessary expenses.

User Experience and Mobile Gaming

I don’t know about you, but I prefer raising light from the cutoff on my phone. Ethereum poker rooms with mobile apps and easy-to-use mobile sites shoot up my rankings.

Ways of Playing Poker With Ethereum

There are two distinct forms of poker: casino poker, where you compete against the casino like in blackjack, and peer-to-peer poker, where you battle against other players. In peer-to-peer poker, there’s no house edge, but the poker site charges tournament fees and takes a tiny percentage of the pot in cash games. On the other hand, video poker is pretty much the successful marriage of poker strategy and the comfortable ease of slot machines. I’m a peer-to-peer guy, but maybe casino poker is more your jam.

Live Poker Matches and Tournaments

You can use Ethereum to play poker against other players in cash games and tournaments. In cash games, you buy into the game for a certain amount of ETH. The game runs 24/7, and the blinds are fixed. Your goal is to win money from other players.

The chips you’re playing with represent actual cryptocurrency, typically USDT. In cash games, you can join and quit anytime and repurchase chips whenever you like. Your profit is the amount of ETH you leave the table with minus the amount of ETH you bought in for. So, if you end your session with 1.5 ETH after having bought in for 0.5 ETH, your profit is 1 ETH.

In tournaments, you pay an entry fee, which goes into a communal prize pool. Your prize is determined by the prize pool size and where you finish the tournament. Usually, the top 20% of the players “cash,” with the player who wins the tournament taking home 25% or more of the total prize pool. So, if you win a tournament with a $1 million prize pool, you could scoop $200,000 or more!

The gameplay is also different in tournaments. Every player receives the same number of poker chips. As the tournament progresses, the blinds keep increasing. Players who lose all their chips are eliminated until only one player remains.

I personally prefer Ethereum poker tournaments. A couple of years ago, I outlasted a field of 2,000+ players in a $25 MTT and won a smidgen under $10,000! You can’t beat the excitement of making the final table of a big tournament. Good luck trying to win that much grinding $25 cash games.

Live Dealer Casino Poker

If you can’t make it to your local casino, live dealer poker is your next best option. In this form of casino poker, you connect to a poker room via live stream, play with a pro dealer, and use a real deck of cards.

I love the novelty of live poker and can’t help trash-talking the dealers in the chat after hitting a big hand. They’re good sports and enjoy the banter. My favorite live poker game is Live Caribbean Stud by Evolution, which comes with a progressive jackpot.

Video Poker

In video poker, the goal is to make the best five-card hand possible. There are lots of variants, but typically, you only win if you make a pair of jacks or stronger.

To play, you set your stake and then click the Deal button. You receive five cards and decide which cards you want to hold and which you wish to discard. You can draw between one and five new cards.

After you’ve drawn new cards or held onto your five original cards, the hand will end. There’s a paytable that reveals your winnings. A pair of jacks pays 1x, a full house 9x, and a royal flush a massive 800x!

Despite video poker’s simplicity, it actually involves a complex strategy because determining which cards to hold can be tricky. This poker variant also boasts an incredibly high RTP above 99%. Here’s a little tip: you can cheat and use a special calculator that tells you the perfect move!

Types of Ethereum Poker Games

There are 50+ poker variants out there, but like with most things in life, there are a few that run the show. At Ethereum poker rooms, you can play all the classics like Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, and Caribbean Stud!

Texas Hold’em

Texas Hold’em was invented in the early 1900s but languished in obscurity until it made its way to Las Vegas in the late 60s. It’s now the most popular poker variant.

In this game, all players are dealt two cards face down. There’s a round of betting where you need to call, raise, or fold. Then, three community cards called the flop are dealt face up on the table.

Players call, fold, or raise again, and a fourth community card is revealed. More betting takes place, and finally, the last card is dealt. After the final round of betting, the players remaining in the hand flip over their cards, and whoever has the strongest hand wins.

Texas Hold’em involves complex strategy as you attempt to either bluff when you have a weak hand or disguise your holdings when you have the nuts. The game is fast-paced, and big pots are common because, at any point, a player can bet all their chips.

While Texas Hold’em is a skill game, it involves just enough luck and variance to give amateurs a shot at beating the pros. But be warned, this can be highly frustrating. The feeling of despair as your pair of aces gets cracked by a lower pair is brutal!

However, I remember once in a $100 tournament, we were on the final table bubble, and I was sitting in 6th position in chips. I had QQ in the cutoff; everyone folded to me, and I raised. The button called and the small blind 3-bet. I 4-bet jammed, and the small blind, who was 8th in chips, called and flipped over KK.

I left my computer and thought it was all over. A couple of minutes later, I came back to see that I was still in the tournament. I opened the hand history and noticed I spiked a Q on the river! That bad beat I inflicted on the guy was worth $2,000!

Pot Limit Omaha

Pot Limit Omaha is very similar to Texas Hold’em. However, two key differences drastically alter the gameplay. Firstly, instead of being dealt two hole cards, you receive four.

Secondly, the maximum you can bet is the pot, so you can’t go all-in whenever you please. Also, in Pot Limit Omaha, you must use two of your hole cards and three of the community cards to form a hand. In Texas Hold’em, you can use all five community cards to create a winning hand.

Due to the additional cards in Pot Limit Omaha, it’s much easier to form a hand than in Texas Hold’em. Non-nut hands also become very dangerous because you often run into situations where you may make a queen-high flush and run into a player with an ace-high flush.

Coming from Texas Hold’em, I found that out the hard way when I first started playing PLO. I would get excited and put too much money into the pot with hands like 89106 double-suited, only to find myself drawing dead against superior straight and flush draws.

Pot Limit Omaha is more of a mathematical game compared to Texas Hold’em. You’re constantly drawing and need to crunch the numbers to see how likely you are to make a straight, flush, full house, and so on.

Play poker with ETH anonymously at Mega Dice and get a 200% welcome bonus of up to 1 BTC

Caribbean Stud

Caribbean Stud is my go-to casino poker game. Apart from the fun tropical theme, it offers up to 100x per hand, and the strategy will test your brain power.

To play, you place a bet called an ante, and then you and the dealer receive five cards each. Your cards are face up while you can only see one of the dealer’s. Another round of betting happens where you fold, call, or raise. Now, the dealer reveals their hand.

If the dealer has less than AK, they don’t qualify; you win the ante bet, but all other wagers are returned. In case the dealer qualifies and you have a superior hand, all bets are paid out at 1:1. If you have the same hand, all wagers are returned.

I’ve clocked a few hundred hours playing Caribbean Stud, but that Evolution progressive jackpot still eludes me! Here are a few rules I abide by:

  • Raise all pairs; don’t even think about doing something else
  • Raise if you have two pair or better
  • Fold if your hand is weaker than the dealer’s qualifying hand

Three Card Poker

I still have nightmares about Three Card Poker and a time I got a little too into this game during a trip to Vegas. My buddies had to drag me away from tables at Caesars after I was down over $1,000; yikes!

This is another casino poker game where you try to outmaneuver the dealer. You place the ante bet, and then you and the dealer receive three face-down cards each. You then either call or fold. If you call, you both flip your cards over. In case the dealer has Jack-high or worse, the bets are returned. If the dealer has Queen-high or better and you have a superior hand, you’re paid out at 1:1.

You can also win additional prizes by making big hands. A straight flush pays 40x, while three-of-a-kind will see you pocket 30x. The game is super simple to play; just remember never to fold if you have Q64 or better.

Pineapple Poker

Everybody and their grandmother were playing pineapple poker in 2012 when players were convinced it was easier to beat than NL and PLO. The game is exactly the same as Texas Hold’em, except you’re dealt three hole cards, and before the betting starts, you need to discard one.

I’ve personally never played Pineapple Poker. It always struck me as too similar to Texas Hold’em. But it might present a fun new challenge if you’ve already mastered NL.

Ethereum Poker Bonuses

The key to winning at online Ethereum poker isn’t just about outsmarting your tablemates. You can further tip the odds in your favor by taking advantage of poker site promos like:

Deposit Match

When you deposit at poker sites that accept Ethereum, they’ll load you up with extra bonus cash. You can use the free money to play live dealer and casino poker and win real money. However, before you withdraw, you need to complete the wagering requirement.

My favorite poker deposit match has got to be from CoinPoker. Deposit ETH now and scoop a 150% match up to $2,000!

Free Poker Chip

With a poker chip, the online casino site gives you bonus cash, which you can use to play any poker game. It’s essentially the poker version of free spins.

If you’re trying to track down the best poker chip bonus, look no further than TG.Casino. It has a 200% match up to 10 ETH, which you can use to play 12+ poker games like Three Card, Caribbean Stud, and Deuces Wild!

No Deposit Bonus

Some generous ETH poker sites will give you free play simply for signing up. Unfortunately, as of right now, I haven’t found any Ethereum poker room offering a no-deposit bonus.

Rakeback

If you’re a frequent poker player, rakeback is the most important bonus. Poker sites make money by taking a percentage of all tournament prize pools and cash game pots. With rakeback, you get back a percentage of the fees you were charged.

The rake for tournaments is usually around 8%, while for cash games, it’s 5%, so the fees can really add up when online gambling. Serious players are paying $30,000 or even $100,000 a year just in rake.

Fortunately, CoinPoker has an impressive 33% rakeback offer, which applies to all cash games and MTTs!

How to Play Poker With Ethereum

I’ve played poker with Ethereum since Vitalik popped up in 2015, so I’m your perfect guide. Follow these steps to play poker online and win your first ETH poker tournament:

  1. Go to CoinPoker’s official site and download the software or app.
  2. Enter your email and create a username and password.
  3. Sign in to your CoinPoker account and claim the bonus.
  4. Hit the Deposit button and select Ethereum.
  5. Enter your Ethereum wallet address and the amount you wish to send, and copy CoinPoker’s address.
  6. Open your Ethereum wallet, paste CoinPoker’s address, and send the same amount of ETH you told CoinPoker you would transfer.

Within five minutes, your ETH will arrive in your CoinPoker account. Then click on a tournament and pay the entry fee, or buy into a cash game for a certain amount of ETH. All games in CoinPoker are denominated in USDT, and your ETH will be automatically converted at the market rate.

Top Tips for Playing Poker With Ethereum

I’ve been playing online poker for 20 years and have made every mistake in the book. Here are some expensive lessons I’ve learned during my poker “career”:

  • Position is key — You can glean critical information about a player’s hand by playing hands in position. You can then use this information to successfully bluff when you realize your opponent is weak and extract value when you have the winning hand.
  • Take a stab at pots — When I first started playing online poker, I was too quick to give up my hands. I would passively check behind or fold whenever my opponent bet. In poker, neither player often has much of a hand, so you can win a lot more pots by increasing your bluff percentage.
  • Avoid tricky players — I’ve been guilty of this myself, but too many players try to flex their poker muscles by taking on the best player at the table. This is the worst thing you can do. Instead, keep pots small against the sharks and focus on bloating the pots against the weaker players.
  • Review your hands — The best players spend as much time studying as they do playing. It’s super important to analyze key hands from your sessions and note your thought process and what went wrong/right.
  • Triple-check the Ethereum address before depositing or withdrawing — Ethereum transactions are irreversible; if you accidentally send ETH to the wrong address, it’s gone forever!

Finally, here’s another crypto-specific tip: Always be mindful of gas fees when playing poker with Ethereum. During times of network congestion, fees can spike, so plan your deposits and withdrawals accordingly to avoid extra costs. It’s all about timing!

Conclusion

If you want to play poker with Ethereum and compete in tournaments and cash games, CoinPoker is what you’re looking for. Its reputation has steadily grown in recent years, bolstered by the addition of fiat payment options, enhanced prize pool tournaments, and the attraction of world-class players like Linus Loeliger and Owen Messere
