What does it mean, today, to be a Bitcoin user? We came across this opinion article and, after reading it, it made us wonder. So, 99Bitcoins decided to go on a thinking journey about the deep meaning of being a digital currency “addicted”. Okay, let’s not get too philosophical about it…
It’s enough to know that Bitcoin was born to create a unique opportunity for the ordinary people, almost making fun of our governments and authorities, showing that the real power is on our side. Cryptocurrency is not just about spending a different type of money, it’s about making a statement. It’s about values, despite the risks.
Yeah, we know that Bitcoin is volatile, uncertain and it practically has not rules, but it’s the coin of the people and we must make sure it keeps going and evolving.
Being a Bitcoin user is almost the same as respecting everybody’s opinion and still managing to be different. Any doubts why we (and millions of people out there) still love Bitcoin? We don’t think so… Yep, we are definitely the dreamers!
